Text Typing
Mimic doesn't capture the key entries as you've discovered. You can use a typing box (as I think you've discovered) to display adding text or use an input box for the user to add text. The other option I can think of is to press the print screen button after you add each character to force the captu...

If I get a chance I'm going to test in IE7 (busy day ahead but I, too, love new tricks!).

Re: Tables for notes, tips, etc.
... However, if I hit return to enter some additional bulleted comments within that note, I get a space between them. .. Pressing enter will add a new list item. You can control line spacing by setting the margin-top and margin-bottom properties in the style sheet. If you want a new line for the ex...

Command Line Batch File
Hi Dom,
The code for the batch file is in the first post in this thread.
Copy it into notepad and save it as <filename>.bat - should work a treat

Word XML
I just created a simple Word document with a numbered list and saved it as a .docx, the new native format for Word. I then changed the file extension from .docx to .zip in Explorer, unzipped the file and opened the document.xml file in Notepad++. As an aside, all the Office 07 native file formats en...

Re-do feature
Maybe what we need is something similar to Office's Format Painter . A button we can toggle on/ off (you double click it in Word etc) to copy an element's style and then apply it to each element you select. I know we can almost do that from the Styles tab, but you have to scroll through your <p> sty...

Padding left and images in a list
Are your images inside the <ol> tags? When I use images in that way I close off the list, insert an image, and then start a new list (with the numbering continued from the previous list). Working this way seemed to give me the greatest control when exporting to Word. I normally insert the image into...

Re: re: slow, slow, slow
All files are local on my machine; they were initially imported from Frame, but I have severed the link from the source docs and am working solely in Flare now. Hi Rhea, Just a shot in the dark - when you imported did you choose to retain a link to the source documents? If so, how did you sever the...

System Date
If you open the variables there is a second set called system. There are date and time variables available - the time variable updated each time I previewed a topic where I used it. Although thinking about it, this would be okay for a date and time stamp on the whole project but only work for you if...

Re: Line
Update: After jumping through many hoops, I still haven't had any luck getting style-based lines to appear in Frame output. My workaround continues to be to use an image file of a line. Just noticed this post - I don't use FM so generally only glance at FM threads. If you export from Flare to Word ...

Invalid registration code
Might be one for Rick or Neal - the thing that springs to mind is the command line build, which the batch file calls, is disabled in the trial version. Something screwy with your installation?

Been building projects madly and have come up with a request (if anyone is listening?) When you use the build button, or the command line, the flag the view button uses isn't reset. So, if you build your project (or individual target) and then click the view target button it reports the target isn't...

Command Line Build batch file
Fellow Propellor Heads I've created a batch file for using the command line method of building projects and thought the nice thing would be to share. You'll probably want to change the log file location. Feel free to use it as you wish, but there are no guarantees , use it at your own risk :) ::::::...
