Lingo projects act differently when I change a translation

Post by EileenP »

1. Change a translation.
2. Press return.
3. Click the string again.
In some cases, the new translation appears in the bottom pane along with the old one, and I can delete the old one.
In other cases, only the new translation appears in the bottom pane.
I can't figure out the reason for this. Both projects are connected to TM. Can you advise?
Thank you.

Unless you know for a fact that the old translation is wrong, I'd leave it. I've shot myself in the foot by deleting a string, only to realize the deleted string was needed in another project. But if string must go, try Edit TM on the Translate ribbon. You can search for a word or phrase in the English version and delete the incorrect translation from there.
