Can anyone shed some light on the following error? "Operation Rename failed: C\SVN\Q2\TOCs" is already under version control." I am trying to rename a TOC file that is already checked out. If it's checked out, why can't I rename it? I am the lone writer on this particular project, so no one else is accessing this file. Thanks, in advance, for any assistance you can provide.
I am running Flare 10.2.0 with Tortoise SVN 1.8.7. When I examine the specific TOC file in SVN, the Properties box is empty.

"Operation Rename failed" error
Re: "Operation Rename failed" error
Did you ever find any solution to this? It happened to me today and then after a few hours Flare just stopped throwing the error when I renamed the file.
Re: "Operation Rename failed" error
This happens to me if my project is on a network drive. If I try to rename a file, I'd get:
Operation rename failed: Could not find a part of the path.
To rename, I'd have to rename it outside of the Flare UI (e.g., in Windows Explorer). But it's not a good idea because I would not get the message about updating links.
If my project is on a local drive, then renaming a file within Flare is OK.
