Which Help output for Silverlight application?

Post by pjellis92 »

Does anyone know which help output would be best for a Microsoft Silverlight software application?

This is a peer-to-peer forum, so it is not regularly monitored by MadCap. If you need an answer from a MadCap representative, it would be better to email your sales representative directly, or someone for customer support.

That being said, I don't use Silverlight, but someone else on the forums may be able to help.

Did you get any response on this? We've been developing for Silverlight for about a year now. We're using webhelp.

My recommendation would be WebHelp as well. I can't think of anything that would fit better (but of several that would fit worse).

I haven't looked at any of the innards of MadCap's embedded Dot Net Help viewer, but if you're doing Silverlight development, you may be able to use that to create a simple help viewer specific to your app. For our Silverlight / Flex apps, we use WebHelp.
