Hi all,
Serious D2H problems after (monthly) Office update yesterday. The day before everything was working fine. First a Word error when opening document. After document has been opened though, the (NetHelp) project does not compile anymore. This happens with all existing projects .
D2H V6 (latest version)
Windows 10
Word365, version 2111, build 14701.20290

Anybody else having the same troubles???

Hi,
I observe the similar errors with Word Version 2112 Build 16.014729.2054, 64 Bit. And, I cannot create a new empty project with one of MadCap's current templates for Version6 for Din A4, from build 722! It get the message: Cannot create blank document. It works with the US-Letter templates.
I realized that MadCap's Din-A4 templates are older than the the US-letter templates.

similar issue here. Error 800a16a0
Word 2112 and Windows 11
Rolled back to Word 2002 and the issue persists, so wondering if maybe the Windows update is the problem
Windows 11, 22000.434

Hi all,
My configuration
D2H V6 (latest version)
Windows 10
Word365, version 2111, build 14701.20290
I had the same warning message as Sjouke regarding the custom ribbon. I first created a backup of the attached template that caused the warning (in my case it was the xx_NORMAL_A4.dot), just to keep an original copy. I opened the template itself (edit), added a space, saved, removed the space again and saved again. Just to make sure Word itself removed the custom ribbon. After that I did not see any changes in the ribbons, so I have no idea what ribbon was removed. But I do no longer receive the warning message, so something is removed.
However, I can compile existing projects and create new ones, all based on this changed template.
Please have a go at this and let us hear what the results are.
Kind regards
Jack

Hi all,
Yes, updating the custom templates (Madcap sent me the updated default D2H templates) did the trick, and the problem has been solved now! Like Jack said, open template, make a change, save it, undo the change and save it again!
Good luck!

Thanks all for your help. Editing the template has resolved the issue in my case as well
