Hi, just popping over from the other thread on kerning and rivers of text.
did you check the Windows display settings on each of the machines? When I had difficulties it was with a 120 dpi setting for Windows display properties, instead of 96 dpi.

Update - got a nice response from MadCap tech support.
The issue was, the PC I was building on was set at 120 dpi in Windows Display Properties > Settings > Advanced > DPI Setting.
Turns out that for best typography the PC you build on must be 96 dpi.
