I am not sure if you have solved this yet? I can't remember how I fixed this myself but you could add some padding to the top of the breadcrumb proxy—the white background of the proxy should hide the bit where you can see the content.

I have had to change my windows settings and use that value instead. So Flare does not pick up Windows formatting because that is fine (well a bit funny looking for the purpose of using it for this)!
