Has anyone ever seen this error message when opening up a Flare project file?
This is an older project I recently needed to update.
The temporary fix is to copy the Folder and rename.
Then the error message doesn't appear.
But IF I ignore the message and continue to work in the original project ...

Unchecking the "Generate Tagged PDF" checkbox did the trick.

I did all of the steps someone suggested in another thread.
1) In the Flare project, choose to Clean Project option. This should delete the Output folder. As an extra step, you can also manually delete the Analyzer folder.
2) Close the Flare project.

Never had an issue creating pdfs with Flare 8 using Acrobat Pro X until we upgraded to Microsoft 2010. Now I can create the pdf (looks great - no issues there) but I get an error message when I try to extract or delete pages.
Is there a setting I need to change to resolve this issue?

I'm working in a project with print pdf targets. Another writer created an online help target in the same project and added drop-down text markers in the topics. Now when I generate the print target, I get random page breaks just prior to the drop-down text marker. I can't find a common denominator ...

I actually looked in the docs -- the H3s that aren't incrementing in the TOC are also not incrementing in the doc -- but only in the QRC medium. They are fine in the regular print medium view.
I see no difference in the code from one medium to another. And I don't see any difference in the document ...

I created a new print medium for them in my style sheet, in addition to the standard print medium.

I will give this a try.

I'm putting together a group of quick reference cards in a project that includes previously created topics. I need the chapter auto-numbering but I don't want the page break before each new chapter in the quick reference cards.
Any ideas on how to disable that feature without messing up the auto ...

This document was imported from a Framemaker doc.
And I believe the text style (tag) isn't in the Flare Style Sheet.

It's curious that others in my workgroup who upgraded are not having problems.

Not a beta tester.
Nothing that I know about happened between Friday and Monday.
We upgraded from Flare 6.
Could the size of the doc have anything to do with it?
It takes Flare nine minutes to build the target.

I just upgraded to Flare 7 and need to build a target for a 422-page printed document from my project. Silly things are happening now that weren't happening before the upgrade. Something different happens each time I try to build the target.
