Re: I just want a title style.... >:
I must have a bizarre understanding of xhtml then - I thought it was extensible html, i.e. you could define your own elements but the structure rules were more strict to make it html-compliant. So I guess when you're applying a 'style' in Flare (e.g. via the styles panel), all you're really doing is...

Re: I just want a title style.... >:
Ok thanks. I understand html & css. I just figured that because the stylesheet contained an entry for <a>, I'd be able to edit the font colour. Could you tell me how to do that without creating a new class? Also, if Flare uses xml, why can't I define & style a new tag? is that to constrain t...

Re: Anybody using Flare with DITA?
Thanks guys. I used to work in Arbortext a lot, which is why I was wondering if you could point Flare at a DTD. I'll just have to parse my brain using a virtual DTD & hope what comes out at the other end is vaguely compliant. I am more interested in the information typing than the actual file st...

Re: Anybody using Flare with DITA?
I've just started a new job, they have quite a lot of existing documentation - I plan to migrate it all to Flare, but I'd like to stick to a DITA structure, mainly because it's a logical approach, not really because I want to future-proof it for any DITA-based editing or publishing environments. So ...
