I am looking for a report or some way to obtain a list of changes made to the help files from a certain date. I need to know the files that have changed, those that have been deleted, etc.
How can I find this information?
Thank you,
Susan

Re: SWF files do not show in IE11
From my testing, it looks like the Flash Player is not installed on these other machines and that is why the SWF files are not showing.
Is there a way to include the SWF player in the Help file or should I be using a different format?
Thank you,
Susan

SWF files do not show in IE11
I use Hover movies in the help files to describe certain areas of a window. They are saved as SWF files.
All files show correctly in Chrome and Firefox. However, IE11 does not show the movies consistently. On one system, they all show correctly, on another they only show a few, and on a third PC ...

Re: Navigation Panel disappears
I found the fix. For some reason the pane size decreased to 0 when I rebuilt the help system. I have no idea why since this help file is one that I copy and then adjust for the next release and I have never had this problem before.

Navigation Panel disappears
I am using MadCap Flare 9.1.2. If I open my help file that has not been rebuilt recently and view it, the navigation pane shows the contents of the help file without incident.
However, if I build the help file and try to view the help file (it is a WebHelp target) the navigation pane disappears and ...

Hover Movies not working in WebHelp on IPhone
Our WebHelp includes several SWF files created in MadCap Mimic. These files show screenshots and as the user moves his mouse over the screenshot, certain descriptions open that explain sections of the window. While testing our help files on my iPhone, I noticed that these files do not show at all ...

Togglers not opening as expanded
Hi all, I set several toggled text to expanded by entering this script on each page in which I needed the text expanded:

Assign Keyboard Shortcuts
Is there a way to assign a keyboard shortcut to a custom text or paragraph style? I have a certain style I use for field names and I would really like to be able to use a keyboard shortcut instead of the style menu each time I need it.
Many thanks,

I am creating both a help file and a PDF from the same topic files. I need to add a print TOC that only includes topics added to the PDF target. All topics use the H1. How do I include some topics in the TOC and not others?

I have certain topics that include a toggler. In Help, I need the toggler text to be automatically open when the topic is open (I have inserted javascript for that) but in the print medium I need to be able to format the MadCap:Toggler text differently. I have changed the margin-top for MadCap ...

So, I got this to work with the MadCap:DropDown style but I had to change all the drop-downs to Toggles so that I could add some script that allows the toggles to be open when the page is first opened, but can then be closed if the reader wants to close them.
