Command Line Build Ignore Stylesheets
While using Flare 11, I created a GUI that runs Flare's command line builder to build our different projects as HTML5 outputs. It worked great. However, we've recently upgraded to Flare 2017r2, and the builder no longer works. It builds the outputs, but it ignores the new setting "Allow local ...

Re: HTML5 In-Page Navigation (Previous/Next)
I should clarify. We did not turn off the skin. It is still specified in the target. What we have done is to use /content/index.htm as the "home" page rather than /Default.htm.
Therefore, the page looks like this:

Rather than this:

HTML5 In-Page Navigation (Previous/Next)
We publish our web help as HTML5, but we do not use the skin. This is due to a number of issues we had with the skin, primarily with the difficulty of referencing specific pages. Management has dictated that using the skin is NOT an option for us.
The problem, then, is that the Prev/Next buttons do ...

Embedded Styles Not Working
I have one page on which I wish to use a very specific style. Therefore, I see no need to create or modify an external stylesheet. However, when I try to embed any styles into this page, nothing happens.
Here is my code:

<style type="text/css">
body
{
font-size:40px;

Re: Table within Table Obtains Wrong Style
After experiencing the problem again, I looked into it a little more myself and discovered that the answer is very similar to what you suggested. When the table styles were created, the column and row styles were left with the default "Body1" and "Column1" (etc.) names. I changed the default names ...

Table within Table Obtains Wrong Style
In my project, I have multiple table styles. For some time, I have had a topic with a table inside another table:
Table [style=columns]
> Table [style=KBTable]
Heretofore, it has worked beautifully. However, today I made a few small changes to KBTable. Now, even though I did not change the ...

Re: Full keystroke path to insert a variable
Like you, I thrive on keyboard shortcuts. Although you know the first couple of steps, I'm going to include the entire keyboard shortcut path for future reference.
Press Ctrl+Shift+V to open the variables dialog.
Select a variable set using the arrow keys, or by using Tab or Shift+Tab .

Re: keyboard shortcuts for TOC?
I just found the answer on page 6 of the shortcut list ( http://docs.madcapsoftware.com/flarev7/flareshortcuts.pdf ). Press Control and then double-click the entry to open the link. Also, you can toggle the double-click action so that just double-clicking will open the link, while holding CTRL and ...
