Re: File Path in Search Result
I'm facing the same issue. I have set the Search Results Path Display in the Search Results skin to 'None'. But the path continues to show. The correct Search results skin is selected in the Target. I do not have a custom search results page so I guess no proxy is required. Please let me know what I...

Hello, Wondering if a solution has been found for this. I am using Flare 2019 r2 and suddenly today I am facing this issue. My Webhelp (old) output builds perfectly but PDF is giving this error. I've tried giving the output folder at C:\ but no luck. Any pointers on how this issue can be solved? Reg...

Re: Persistent icons when showing/hiding TOC in side-nav
Thanks for this post; I too was looking to do something similar. I too want to replace with my own icons. But in the zip file provided by Jack I could not find the icons anywhere. Where are his icon files in the folder structure?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

2 Menu panes after resize and then maximise
Hello all, I have a Side Navigation output that opens to full window. I resized the window to check how it would look on a tablet. Thereafter, I clicked the Maximise button again. Issue is I now have 2 menu panels. The default one given by Madcap Flare and the customized one that I set up. Please s...

Re: ErrorID="10086" : Build failed: The system cannot find the f
Thank you for the solution. Unfortunately, I spent a good part of this morning trying to find the solution and came across your post much later. But removing the Alias file (which I don't use) from the Advanced tab of the Target Properties file and adding a missing Master page (not sure how that hap...

Re: HTML5: text in browser tab of output [RESOLVED]
Hello all, It's 2022 and I have just switched to HTML5 Side Navigation output from Webhelp output. I am having this problem still i.e. unable to set the text to a fixed string in the browser tab. It changes with the content and I want it to remain as the product name. I cannot find any option to set...

Re: Blank screen displayed when Webhelp opens
Thanks for the heads-up regarding Webhelp output. I was not aware. As I am currently using Flare 2019 r2, there is no issue at present; but will definitely have to change to HTML5 output soon. Meanwhile, my issues with the blank screen continue. It is also there in a sample HTML5 output that I teste...

Re: Blank screen displayed when Webhelp opens
Thanks Psider. Tried your suggestion but it unfortunately did not work.
It could be due to Chrome version going into 3 digits...but not entirely sure and even if I am right, not sure how to rectify it.

Re: Deleted files not getting removed in SVN
That worked...SVN didnt have these folders and a fresh import had a clean directory structure.
Wish these little issues didnt crop up - it doesnt affect the project or output but looks untidy.
Thanks for your timely help. Apologies for the belated reply.
Regards.

Word output fails
Hello, I have a Flare project (Flare 2019) with Webhelp and PDF targets. Both work beautifully. Recently, there was a need to add a Word target. I copied the PDF target and changed the Output type to Word. I did that because everything is exactly the same and I thought this would be the easiest way ...

Re: Breadcrumbs for topics not in TOC
Hi Michelle,
Sorry...never managed to get it to work the way I wanted (and you too).
I've just got the latest Flare (2019) and will need to play around with it to see if it can be achieved with this version.
Will post a reply if I am successful.
Regards,
TeSol

Hi, Were you able to solve this issue? If so, please let me know. My topics always open with Print medium and I want them to open with Default medium. Hello, I use Flare 10 and the project is bound within Flare to SVN. Recently, the SVN path was changed after which all files in my Flare folder show as 'çhecked out'. I was able to check in all the files except around 10 of them. These are targets, css and skin files. While checking in I get the mes...

Wrong language appears in TOC
Hi, My help output is in English and German. When I do a search in the Search pane of the German help the search results show in English for some of the topics. The topic itself (in the right pane) displays correctly in German. German_help_search_issue-min.png TOC shows correctly in German. Issue is...
