Re: Centering a border style
Hi,
Yes, that is a better solution.
Concerning the width: a pdf output will mostly have a width of already around the shown 800px.
If you change the width in the style to for example 300px, you will see the difference.

Re: Centering a border style
Hi, You are almost there: Put it in a div with the next styleclass and specify that the P-tag used in the div is an inline-block element: div.centered { text-align: center; } div.centered > p.KEMP_Note_Information2 { font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000; border: solid 2px #2e8b57 ...

Re: Line break in a Snippet
Hi, In Flare all text formatting is best done using a p-tag, so use a p-tag like this: <ol> <li><p>From the <strong>Deployments</strong> page, use the <strong>Search</strong> field to find the desired deployment, and click <strong>Edit.</p> <p></strong>The Edit Deployment page is displayed.</p></li ...

Re: top-nav feedback by topic
Hi, When you add the next script to the master page used, then each page will show a hyperlink at the bottom of each topic, that a user can click to send an e-mail to the specified address. The script will add a subject to the e0-mail that can be configured, and add the url of the webpage, so the ...

Re: Heading for list of topics
Hi, How is your TOC structured? If you position the topics inside the TOC at the same level as the heading, and use the (tab Advanced) options to use TOC heading level and unlinked books then you can create all topics with a H1. The heading level in the output will be determined during generation of ...

Re: Undefined styles... on images?
Hi, This report informs you that the style "span._Override" is applied on the images used, but in the (selected?) stylesheet this style does not exist. You can open the used stylesheet for example in notepad and do a search for "span._Override" to see if it is defined in there or not. According to ...

Re: Two versions on published page using versioning script
Hi, I am not sure this is going to help you, but it is worth a try. The version filter used contains a list of options. If you did exactly what is shown in the blog example of the link you added, then there is no option set as selected: ... <option value="Default.1-0">1-0</option> <option value ...

Re: N00b question: H1 causes pagination @ PDF: change this?
Hi, The TOC "reacts" with the Target "advanced" tab setting in section Generated TOC: With option "Use TOC depth for heading levels" active, you can move the topics in the TOC file at the "level" (indented to the right in the TOC file) to show the heading for the topic. This means you can write all ...

Re: Heading Autonumbering Issues by Newbie
Hi,
There are several options to use chapternumbering. It might become a bit confusion when you combine the options partially.
Have a look at this topic to see what I did, to get an idea how chaternumbers can be used:

Hi,
I do not think Flare is doing something here.
I guess it is a configuration in AWS that, once set, should take care of updating the next time using the correct MIME type.

Re: skin css files wrong metadata - binary/octet-stream
Hi, For what this is worth: CSS files default to a MIME type of octet/binary. To correct this, sign into your AWS Management Console, go to the Amazon S3 section and find the relevant bucket. Locate the CSS file and select Properties. Under Metadata, set the Content-Type key to value: text/css ...

Re: How can I change Flare's title bar itself (not in output

Under Options (Menu file - right-bottom corner, next to Exit) select Interface and at theme select Silver for once instance and black for the other ...

Re: IE11 and Edge responsive layout table problem
Hi, I have noticed that this table as well as the table used in the flexbox link, both have multiple columns that have no fixed width set. If all but 1 column can have a fixed width, then resizing will only affect 1 column. I usually have the last or fore-last column set to auto and all others ...

Re: Ordered list inside unordered list
Hi, unordered lists have bullet points by default. I guess you are referring to the ordered list inside the unordered list, that should have numbers in stead of bullets. I usually create the ordered list outside of the unordered list, then start a paragraph in the unordered list item and next copy ...

Hi,
To prevent clicking a link in a PDF to open a browser and try to open a webpage i bookmark the link and let the link point to the bookmark.
When a user clicks the link in the PDF, the link will jump to the bookmark and stay in the PDF.

Re: Storage location of Favorites
Hi,
selected favorites are stored in a *.dat file in the users profile AppData folder.
I do not know if these files can be used to copy favorites to another PC's user's profile folder. I think you might run into policy issues there.

Hi, when you are absolutely sure these styles are not used at all (run a report - not used styles), then you could open the stylesheet in Notepad, locate these styles and delete them (or comment them out using /* */ and save the file again. Re: Why is first OL LI shown at END of text when using chrom
Hi, I already tried changing the padding, the border and both but this had no effect for the position of the "1." shown in Chrome. It seems that in Chrome there must be something in between to get the position of the "1." in front of the text instead of at the end. So now I have added <p> </p> as ...

Re: Why is first OL LI shown at END of text when using chrom
Hi, Ha, just found the solution myself! The trick that did it is to add one more at the start of the snippet that contains the list. It seems that using <br /> is somehow not understood by chrome and that is. Added this solution for anybody that might run into a similar issue. Greetings, Rene ...

Why is first OL LI shown at END of text when using chrome?
Hi, (Start of a long story) I cannot figure out why the first LI of an OL using a dropdown results OK in EDGE and IE and is wrong in Chrome: Edge and IE output.jpg versus Chrome output.jpg Note the position of the "1." . I have added the orange border to visualize the area used by the DIV that ...
