Re: Index search in HTML5
Thank you Nita! We are using Flare 8 now but this would be a reason to start thinking about Flare 9.

Index search in HTML5
Does anybody know if there is a way to use search for the Index pane in HTML5 output? We have just switched from CHM and there was an option to perform search on the Index pane. Is there a way to do it with HTML5? My index list is really long and I can't see a way to search through it or perform ...

Re: Can't make empty pages work in PDF output
Just tried out! The page breaks are fine. But now both pages that go after the chapter page have First page layout assigned. Here is how everything is set now.
Chapter 1 - First page type, First.flpgl applied
--page 1 - no settings. This page has two H2 heading to tell where to make a page break

Re: Can't make empty pages work in PDF output
Hi LTinker68! Thank you for your help!
First of all, I did forgot to mention that I have a pagelayout with an empty type set for it. But I still don't get the right result. And I have some questions:
If the page layout associated with Chapter 1 includes the first, right, left, and empty pages ...

Can't make empty pages work in PDF output
Here is the scenario. It is very classical like the one in Flare help but it doesn't work for me.
I have a document with chapters and I want every chapter to start on the right page. So I have the following page layouts:
Chapter -type first
Right- type right
Left - type left
And the following TOC ...

Re: Is there a way to have chapter titles in headers for PDF?
I think I found a solution. I used Title variable in the system variable set and provided the same title in the topic properties to all the topics in the same chapter. Thanks for the hint, Nita! I didn't know where to search.

Re: Is there a way to have chapter titles in headers for PDF?
Thanks for a quick reply, Nita! I had no idea about what heading variable set is for! I looked at it closer but seems iy doesn't solve my problem. The thing is that I have a first chapter page and it has the chapter name on it all the following pages must have the same chapter name in the heading ...

Is there a way to have chapter titles in headers for PDF?
Hi! I am looking for a way to place chapter names to the headers for PDF outputs. I use different page layouts for odd and even pages in my document. I want the Odd pages to have chapter name in the right-head corner.
