Is it possible to change the text that appears at the top of the Web Help output window/tab in users' browsers? Right now it's a gray globe and the phrase "Web Help"... I have been poking around in the skin styles but can't seem to find anything that controls this...

So, here's the answer:

1) Select Insert->Character->Select Quick Character
2) In the bottom box, enter either 9660 or 0x25BC (with no # or & or ; )
3) Click "OK"
4) Place the cursor in your topic file where you want to insert the character. Press [F11] or Insert->Character->Quick Character.

Image resolution and quality, Flare does not reproduce images in the same quality as you can get with something like PDFs. All attempts to resize to get ideal results have failed. I instead resorted to creating a macro that fixes all images after the Word doc is created.

Edited: OK, so the workaround was to create a brand new page layout and associate it with every topic in the TOC. I think maybe the full-page-width image I had in my header was confusing Word, although Acrobat handled it just fine ...

Thank you both! I think I was just worried that I should make them all cross-references so that they could be linked to from other topics and automatically updated, but it sounds like that might be overkill for most of them.

When I use the <li> tag to created a bulleted or numbered list, the baseline of the bullet/number is always higher than that of the text it accompanies, like this:
