Command/script for popup event in custom toolbar button
Next question: In the HTML5 skin I have created a custom toolbar button that I want to open a popup when hovered over (ideally) or clicked. While inserting popups in topics is very easy, configuring them in the skin editor is not so much. I am not very code- or script - literate, so: can anyone ...

Re: How do I make a custom toolbar button float right?
I do have buttons on the left: Expand/Collapse, Previous Topic, Next Topic. I did not try a filler, but that should work. Thanks!

How do I make a custom toolbar button float right?
I am adding a custom button to my HTML5 toolbar--a "How to use this help" button. Because it's longer than the standard buttons on the toolbar, I'd like it to flush right on the toolbar. The default class for toolbar buttons in the output is button-group-container-left. From what I've seen, the skin ...

JW Player popup in WebHelp
I want to link to, not embed, mp4 videos in my WebHelp output, and I'd like to use JW Player as a popup to accomplish this because we've been getting varied results letting users play the videos on their local media players via a Flare popup. Does anyone have any experience doing this with Flare ...

Re: TOC icons in HTML5
They are PNGs, and your solution works great, lacking a solution in Flare. Thanks very much!verisof wrote:Are your images PNG files? Would it be possible to cheat it by adding some transparent height to the top of them in order to force it in the correct position?

TOC icons in HTML5
Hi, I'm trying to replace the default HTML5 TOC book icons in the navigation pane with twisties to denote collapsed and expanded topics. However, the twisty icons have a top vertical orientation, so the icons are higher than the text next to them. The skin editor doesn't appear to have the option to ...

CSH calls not working in restored project
Was backing up my project files to our git repository earlier this week when the checkin process was interrupted by a file conflict, and the GUI I was using apparently know what to do with the files in process, so it deleted them, including my Flare project source files. I got one of our ops guys to ...

Flare not seeing Word 2010 install
Hi,
I've tried to import Word 2010 docs into Flare 7 but received an error message that I need to install Word 2003 or greater to complete the import. I installed Flare before I installed Word. Any tips on getting Flare to detect Word?

Re: WebHelp background image vs. body area color
Check your other styles, specifically the base html tag and the body tag. I'm not sure what takes precedence if there is a background color and image specified. If you have a white background on the base html tag, then that might take precedence over the background image in the html class if colors ...

WebHelp background image vs. body area color
Hello, I'm a new Flare user developing my company's WebHelp from scratch. My goal for the content window is to mirror the look of the website I'm documenting. The site pages have a textured background image visible in the left and right margins, but the text area is white. I haven't had much luck ...
