Framemaker 11 was released after Flare 8 was released which is why it did not recognize that Framemaker was installed. There is a patch posted at the link to the Knowledge Base Article below. The patch is for MadCap Flare v8.1.1 or above.

If you're using Capture v6 in Ribbon mode then it is under the Edit ribbon (Edit > Replace).
If you're in the Tool Strip mode, then it is File > Replace Background Image. Thanks for pointing that out!

The original image is stored in the .props file as a "background image". You can replace it with a new image by going to Edit > Replace in Capture v6. This will keep all of the other objects that are in the .props file.

The missing topics issue can happen if the project is in a "hidden" folder in Windows. For example, if the project folder is inside another folder called "Flare Projects". If, for some reason, "Flare Projects" is a hidden folder, all the files and folders under it will be affected by the hidden ...
