Re: Importing/converting a HTM- toc to a Flair-toc

I'm sorry, but as I mentioned already, the converter can only work with *.xml files. But the AuthorIT-project contains only *.htm. So the converter doesn't see any files.

Re: Importing/converting a HTM- toc to a Flair-toc

Hi,
I'm afraid the AuthorIT-importer only accepts only xml-files and the old project only contains *.htm-files :(

Reset Size for all images

Hi,
I imported an HTM-project. But in de build, all the images are disfigured. The way out is to select every image in all the topics one by one and reset their size. Is there a trick to resize all the images in the project at once?
Thanks,
Tom

Importing/converting a HTM- toc to a Flair-toc

Hi, I've got an ols AUthor-IT project with only *.htm-files, so the import tool from Flair doesn't work (it needs a xml starting-file). I imported de project as HTM-project, but I want to import the existing table of contents. It is a htm-file named Toc.htm. Is there a way to convert that file into ...

The Kaizen plugin disappeared from the ribbon

Hi
In the Ribbon the tab for the Kaizen-plugin suddenly was removed. I 'sort of' de-installed the plugin en reinstalled it. In 'Options' and in the registry it is enabled. So I wonder where ti find the plugin-tab?
Anyone an idea how to solve this?

Malware detection bij Trend Microsoft OfficeScan

The latest build of 2017r2 makes the Office Anti Virus (Trend Micro Office Scan) to stop the building process, detecting is as malware. Please do something to reverse the bug in the latest update. I'm working in an international company and can't stop the virus defense every time I must make a build...

Re: default icons 'beheaded' in HTML5-output

Hi Austin, The output I send you was exactly the same project as I work in. The only thing I did before buidling the TestTarget, is copying an exisiting TOC and deleting almost all of the topics an copying a target whith that TOC. That's all. Sending you the whole project, would only be 'more of the...

Re: default icons 'beheaded' in HTML5-output

Hi Austin, I tried it as you said (editing as always in the text-editor) made it 10px to exaggerate: MCHelpControl-ConceptHotSpot_, MCHelpControl-RelatedHotSpot_ { padding-top: 10.00px; } It appeared in the output .css. The only point is, the output won't listen in my case Even when change the px in...

Re: default icons 'beheaded' in HTML5-output

Hello Austin, The Master Stylesheet is working all right. On text-level I can do what I want. I tried the 'important-add' but still it's overruled. I made a small target, with very few topics, the zip-file is about 11.5 Mb. It's based on the same configuration as my other targets. Probably you could...

Re: default icons 'beheaded' in HTML5-output

Hi again, Thanks. This makes things more clear. I found the class in 'Topic.css' and I added the 'padding'. It works. Point is, that I can only find the class in the Topic.css in the OUTPUT (and that's the file I changed). Nowhere else (not in ProgramFiles in the Flare.app/recources). There are some...

Re: default icons 'beheaded' in HTML5-output

Hi,
Thanks.
But editing my master stylesheet in the project, by adding the padding does'nt work (changes are overruled, I think).
What do you mean bij your "main style sheet"?

default icons 'beheaded' in HTML5-output

Hi I'm working in Flair 9 using HTML5-output. When I use the standard icons for buttons like 'Related topics' and 'Concept links' the (line)space in the top is too little for the icon. So it looks a bit 'beheaded' (see attachment). Editing the class in the project-css doesn't make a diffrence. How c...

Re: Mini-toc doesn't show in the build (HTML)

Hi Nita, Thank you for your explanation. The link between the 'book' in the Toc and a topic was my missing link. So now it works in my project as is has been designed in Flair :). For me the Mini-TOC is a bit too restricted. I would have liked to show the mini-toc in all the relevant topics from tha...

Mini-toc doesn't show in the build (HTML)

Hi, I'm a bit lost in Flair 8. I want to start with Mini-Tocs in topics. I insert the proxy in a topic, the topic is at level 2 in the TOC (no topic linked with the book). The heading is level 1 (h1) and there are several topics at the same level (but using heading 2 or 3) in the TOC. I suppose ther...

Bulleted lists are given numbers in Word 2010

Hi, I work with Flair 8.1.1. and MS Word 2010 (Dutch). And I have a problem with the printed Word-output. When I make a bulleted list in Flair: • lasdkfl;'kfsda • hjkhkslhfasfd • asl;dfjkl;jafsd the export in the Word document gives numbers: 1. lasdkfl;'kfsda 2. hjkhkslhfasfd 3. asl;dfjkl;jafs...

Re: Error message on the Glossary-tab in DotNet

Hi,
Sorry about my late reaction.
Yes, I use the latest version.
But the problem is solved. In the target I assigned the overall MasterPage for the project to the glossary. But it should have been the Default.
Not the slightest idea why, but I 'll leave it as it is.

Hi, I'm creating a Glossary and use the Glossary pane in the DotNet Helpviewer. But when I clik the button there is a errormessage saying: "Can't find Toolbar.htm - C:\1-UNIT4 Multivers\Helpfile Alle versies\Output\Skin". When I click [OK] in the message, it disappears and everything seems...

Lisa, I understand your reply. And I deliberately noted 'as smooth as possible'. Taking into account the prescriptions for our house-style, the title page, the footer containing a macro referring to documentname on the frontpage and the page numbering. I am working for 12 years now on helpfiles, sta...

Re: Trouble numbering in printed output (Word 2007)

Hi Lisa, It's the First. We are making software and only for a major release we are producing PDF-documents. Let's say about 4000 pages A4 (for the four different versions of our application). But as always in software, there are minor release (mainly bug-fixing) with very little functional changes ...

Trouble numbering in printed output (Word 2007)

Hi, I have an instructional helpfile (Flair 6.1) where lots of topics contain numbered steps and list-styles (decimal numbering, circles and disks). In xml I use the ordered list (ol) for the decimal numbering, the list (li) at paragraph level and extended lists (ul). For the printed output I use th...

Re: Mini-toc doesn't show in the build

Thanks Lisa, You're right, deleting Topic 1 from the TOC and only link it to the book makes it work. But it means the starting topic for my users (the most important one in a set about a subject), can only be 'found' as a book, not where users will usually look, as a topic. They must dubbelklick a b...

Mini-toc doesn't show in the build

Hi, Could someone please help me with the mini-toc in Flair V6.1? I want to include it in mij online help (DotNet and html), not in printed output. - I made an empty project containing 3 topics. Each one with a lower heading level (H1, h2, h3). - I made a TOC, containing one book with, in declining ...
