I want the link to stay relative in the Word/PDF output. So yes, I want to maintain the "../" in the Word/PDF output.
Is this possible?

Re: Linking to a file
That was just an example. What about when linking to external files?
So, instead of ../../Appendix 3.1.4.doc I link to
"../../../Appendices/Appendix 3.1.4.doc"
Is there a way to force Flare to maintain relative links, especially in printed output?

Re: Linking to a file
Is there some way to get MadCap Flare to maintain relative links? When I create an External link, I put in the relative address. For example, External File: ../Appendix/Appendix 3.1.4 .doc Yet, when I output to Word, the link becomes absolute and changes to "C://My Documents/My Projects/Example...

Printed Output Ignores Custom List Styles
Anyone have any experience using custom lists with Printed Output? My custom lists don't appear as they should. The custom element is removed and ul becomes ol. Flare does not offer dashed lists, that is, - lists that begin - and continue with a dash So, I made my own. Here's the list section from m...

Re: Auto-number in WebHelp Output
Sorry for the lack of clarity: yes, I would like to see a full reference of possible commands in the WebHelp.

Re: Auto-number in WebHelp Output
Genius. I was using {secnum} and {n} to no avail, but trying {gn} it works swimmingly. Would it be possible to add all possible counter values to the WebHelp? I avoid Flare's stylesheet editor as much as possible because it always reverts my stylesheet to the default Style.css that comes when you fi...

Auto-number in WebHelp Output
Is it possible to use auto-number between topics in WebHelp? When I output to Word, the Auto-number works correctly between topics. That is, the <h1>'s in my Word output appear as follows: Section 1: Topic something Section 2: Topic something else However, when I output to WebHelp it changes to: Sec...

Smart Reports
Hi All, The basics of Flare's report generator are nice, however the format is very unreadable and for complex projects it's too confusing to be worthwhile. Is there a way to output Flare's report in a format that can be imported into a spreadsheet? Instead of: Count: 48 Condition : Default.ThisCond...

Using File Tags, Conditions, etc as Content
Hi all, I have a documentation system where topics are edited by their owners, and owners are mapped using file tags. Is there a way to call file tags within content itself? For example: Text Editor <h1> Title </h1> <p> Topic Author: MadCap:FileTag "Author" </p> Output Title Topic Author: ...
