I should have specified buttons in the toolbar of the HTML5 skin. I believe the Button class only effects things like drop-downs.
In the old webhelp skin there were "PressedIcon" and "HoverIcon" properties for the toolbar items that you could set to different images. Not seeing this at all in HTML5 ...

HTML5 Skin - dynamic buttons
The built-in "Expand All" button changes to the "Collapse All" image when clicked on. I'm trying to replicate this functionality in a custom button so that it changes to a different image when clicked on. Anyone done this before or have ideas?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: I need local variables (specific to a topic)
Yeah, snippet conditions will work here. You'd create one snippet with all of your text in it. Then you'd condition the topic specific text for each one inside this snippet, and make your three different topics with this same snippet in it, with the snippet conditions applied to each topic.

Re: Conditional Text mid-sentence (using Lingo)
In my projects this is handled more on the translators side. So on the first go through, the example you gave may be translated incorrectly with the wrong article gender, but when we receive that translation back, our content is all validated by someone internally who speaks the language. They will ...

Re: Editing Heading Variables
@loftwork: That's a cool, interesting solution, but I have 1000+ topics, so probably a bit too messy. It would be nice to have an option that wasn't so much of a work around that relied on tricking the system. Not to mention I'm pulling from all headers, not just <h1>s, and since I don't know which ...

Update Project Report
When I update a lingo project (file -> update project) it displays all the files that are different, and there is a "save log" button visible, but not clickable, since the update screen auto-closes after it finishes. Is there any way to keep that generated report on what's changed?

Editing Heading Variables
So I'm using the variable Heading.AnyLevel in the header frame of my pdf layouts. This drags the heading number, along with the title into the header, for example: 6.3.4 Communicating with the System. I want to get rid of the heading numbers. Is there any way to control that? I'm not seeing any back ...

Re: Favicon
I'll probably just write a batch script for windows to auto-copy the favicon to the correct location every time I do a build, for anyone else who was following and interested.

Re: Favicon
Yup I was confusing pagelayouts with masterpages. That should work. Not sure I like moving the entire project around (I'm one of many people who works in the source, so things get touchy) so that the favicon outputs to the right directory, but this does save me the hassle of manually putting that ...

Re: HTML5 Search Background Color Change
If you open up your htlm5 skin to edit it, go to styles -> search input and there is a background option that will change what you want. Keep in mind that background image overrides, the gradient, and color options, so it should be set to none. Also, gradient overrides color. I've had trouble ...

Re: Favicon
This is strange. Neither Chrome, Firefox, or Safari will automatically grab the favicon from the websites root for me (not in the webhelp or in any other websites I manage). It requires a line of code to work.
Also, adding the favicon to the root of content folder doesn't actually pull it to the ...

Favicon
Anyone know a way of automating the process of adding a favicon to my webhelp output before it builds? I'm doing it manually, post-build right now. I'd like to stop that.

Loading Multiple TOCs
Is there any possible way, either using Flare or altering the output, to create a drop-down menu for which when an item is selected will load up different TOCs in the navigation area? Pretty much I want the ability to change back and forth between a few different products TOCs without ever leaving ...
