While attempting to build an HTML 5 project, I get the following message:
"Build failed: no such revision 8031."
I'm using SVN Subversion for source control, the most recent update.
The status of the project to the repository is connected.
Has anyone seen this before?

SVN Subversion disconnect after importing repository
Recently I changed computers and imported the repository using SVN/Subversion. Although the projects were downloaded, I can't revise and recompile them until they are unbound from source control. The compilation error is "10086: Build failed: Value cannot be null." But I cannot reconnect t...

maker.ini file needs updating for FM target
Previously I had been generating Frame targets from Flare 12 using FM 10. We single-source our user guides to FrameMaker from html Flare 12. But recently I had to upgrade to FrameMaker 15 from version 10 as the latter was no longer supported. As we were developing our print guides in Frame over 11 y...

HTML Help 64-bit
Our 64-bit program installations are failing with HTML Help. When I click the Help menu, I am getting an error message that says in sum "The [program].chm file is not a Windows Help file, or the file is corrupted." I've seen at least one message pertaining to this, but as of yet I haven't ...

Ramon:
I can get administrative rights from IT, if that's the issue.
But assuming that I have these rights, exactly what must be changed in that maker.ini file?
Or is this simply a question fo Adobe?

FM 10 output from Flare 7.2.0
For the first time since installing FM 10 on a new 64-bit machine, I had a problem generating FrameMaker output with Flare 7.2. Typically I generate two manuals with more than a dozen chapters apiece, with graphics, TOCS, indices, and hyperlinks. This was done with FM 9 and (I believe) Flare 6 last ...

Re: "See Also" failure with 4.1, Vista laptop (itcc.dll)
I have installed Flare 4.1 on my HP Pavilion laptop (Windows Vista). (HP Pavilion dv9700 Notebook PC; 64-bit) When I generate a chm on this laptop with Flare 4.1 installed, the Concepts A-Links (See Alsos) do not work. I have received instructions to click on the itcc.dll file to register it. This f...

Re: Index fonts and skins (Russian language)
Lisa:
Yes. I was changing the fonts in the style section of the project skin. But I also changed the text of the "See Also" buttons in the language skin.
I can't seem to change the index fonts.

Index fonts and skins (Russian language)
I have been compiling some Russian translations of our Help. One problem has been the stretched font that appears in the index; the TOC is normal in appearance. I can't figure out how to control the fonts in the index, although the Russian text displays normally in every topic. Exactly which skin co...

Re: "See Also" and Search malfunctions for Russian
Running the itcc.dll in Flare did cure the Concepts A-Link and Search failures for my English language HTML Help. However, I continue to experience the same problems with Russian-language files: the search functions and the Concepts A-Links continue to fail, although the concepts themselves have bee...

Re: "See Also" buttons do not work with Flare 4
Pete: Thanks for getting back to me. HTML files compiled before a certain date still display the Concepts A-Links correctly; it's after that date that the See Also buttons fail. My Related Topics links in IE Help work correctly. And I tried reregistering ActiveX as per your suggestion. But I still h...

"See Also" buttons do not work with Flare 4
I am using Flare 4.0.16 for Windows XP on an Intel Duo Core machine (2.66 GHz, 1.96 RAM). It appears that beginning with Flare 4, the chms that I generate do not have working Concepts A links. On every topic on which I test the "See Also" buttons after generating the chm, an error message ...

File size for Lingo (Russian translation)
I submitted this topic in the Flare discussion group, but since it also concerns Lingo, I'm posting it here too. To cut to the quick, I really only have one question concerning Lingo: what are the limits to the file size that the program can handle? Our Russian translator could not load an HTML file...

Flare/Lingo doesn't work for long Russian file
We are translating HTML Help for one of our programs into Russian, using Lingo. (The Russian translator is using the Lingo program, to move everything into Flare/HTML.) One large file has presented problems. In English, this file is 784 kb; in Russian however, it balloons to 1800 kb. One of our engi...
