Question about Auto-merge feature-html5 output
I have a question about the auto-merge feature that you can set up on a server and coordinate in the toc (this is for html5 output). I want to do it in a single project.

Re: Create bookmark links in TOC without generating content
I aggree the first approach you mention is better. I was not aware of the 'make searchable/nonsearchable' option, which was my main concern. -- Actually I was looking for something like this in the toc, but it's in the topic properties. Should have checked help!
Thanks!

Create bookmark links in TOC without generating content
My project includes a dozen or so different product installations that share a lot of content. I want to repeat toc entries fro the shared topics in each installation section but I don't want the content regenerated each time. (I'm using html5 ouput) Is there any simple way I can add a toc item just ...

Re: "Automatically Synchronize TOC" not working
I reported this to support and it turns out it's a bug, but fortunately there's an easy work-around. If you're using the Auto-generate TOC feature you need to choose "Insert computed entries", not "replace with computed entries". If you use the latter, which I was doing, you run into this issue. It ...

"Automatically Synchronize TOC" not working
I just upgaded to Flare 8.1.2 from Flare 7 and can't get this to work with the html5 skin. It was listed as an issue in the 8.1 release notes (actually twice- 50041 and 50940). But I assumed it was resolved. Anyone else see this? The issue is when you click on an internal link in the main page it ...

Re: build error: "Internal error: URL not a local file"
Turns out the error is related to an imported 'Master" project that I use to manage resources in my regular 'work' projects. When I checked 'disable autosync of all import files' I was able to build. To verify- when I tried to do a reimport from the master project I got the same error. So the two ...

Re: build error: "Internal error: URL not a local file"
It happens immediately, so there's no logging or messages. The top of the build window just says "Compiler (Internal Error) under "Subsystem".
Thanks

build error: "Internal error: URL not a local file"
I'm on version 7 and have had no problems with builds until this. I have several projects and only one project is affected, and it's all outputs- Web, pdf, and Word. The error occurs immediately after I kick off a build on any target in the project. Seems like something got corrupted so I tried ...

TFS- Major issue with "Get Latest Version"
When I open my project a popup asks me if I want to get the latest version of my content from TFS. Since I'm the only writer for the project I usually say "No". Here's my question..If I make updates without checking back in, save and close the project, then reopen the project and say 'yes' at the ...

I Want to limit search results to specific Target/TOC
I have several documents in one project for different audiences, which is great for sharing stylesheets, skins etc. But When I generate Webhelp output for each one, I want to limit the Madcap search results to only documents in each specific TOC. Your doc says Search works on all topics in the ...
