I now realise that this may be a tables bug in Flare 10, as text popups in standard text generate sequentially numbered footnotes in the PDF.

Has anyone else had problems installing the latest upgrade (10.2)? When I go to install it, I get the message "UpdateMadCapFlare_V1020.exe is not a valid Win32 application", which suggests that it is not a complete file.

I've solved the problem of the resized images, with a little help from Rob Hollinger's posting - you untick 'Tools > Options > Automatically resize low DPI images' . However, in my opinion, that should never have been set as default. It was bound to throw a lot of people.
