Now, how do I add a graphic (or text) to my new button?

Is there a definitive, fool-proof way to create a Home toolbar button (for HTML5 output)?

So I followed these steps:

As your code is pretty simple and doesn't need to be re-used by several buttons, just use method (1).
- Go to the Styles tab, then create the button by adding a new class in Toolbar Button.
- Set the button Event to something like this:
Code: Select all location.href ...

It wouldn't matter if it worked with other browsers because our clients are typical IE users. But...

OMG...I just tried to add a home button to my toolbar, mucked up the java script part of it, deleted the home button, and voila...I have a startup topic! Not sure what went on there. I don't trust ...

IE 10 (10.0.9200.16721)
The output is on my local.
MOTW is turned off (I've tried with it on as well...back and forth about a dozen times...makes no difference).
No conditions on the startup topic.

My output is HTML5. I have set my Startup Topic, but when the output is generated, no Startup Topic. Just an empty right-hand pane and the TOC in the left pane.

Was this issue ever resolved? I'm having the same problem. I've tried everything suggested in the posts and they don't solve the problem.
