Preview as primary target - lag time & stylesheet issues
Since Flare 2020 (and persisting through r2), preview as primary target seems to have an annoying lag time of about 10 long seconds. As well, it no longer applies the master stylesheet. And without the stylesheet, it doesn't really help as a "preview." Is anyone else having this problem and know of ...

Re: Question about re-using topics in TOC
Thanks everyone. I tried the solution outlined in the Help, and you are right - it's not a complete solution. Does anyone know if a bug about the "Synchronize navigation elements..." feature has been filed for MadCap? If not, I'll file one.

Question about re-using topics in TOC
When a topic is referenced more than once in a TOC, and that topic is referenced (linked) from another topic, I want the link to point to the instance of that topic in the same top-level node in the TOC, to maintain the integrity of the breadcrumb & side menu. Instead, the reference points to ...

Analyze *only* topics linked from primary target
In the Analyzer Summary, is there a way to list only those topics that are linked from the primary target of the project? I don't care about files with issues if they are not linked from the target. In Flare, this would be the equivalent of checking, "Exclude content not linked directly or ...

Combining projects without using 'global project linking'
I want to combine three existing projects into one by importing two of the smaller projects into the third larger one. I don't want to use "merging" because I want to easily link to topics between all three projects. However, I'm also not keen on "global project linking" because I don't care about ...

Headings don't appear in Word navigation pane
I have a target that generates multiple Word documents based on chapter breaks in the TOC ("Generate multiple documents for MS Word output" in Advanced tab). I don't want any TOCs, but I do want the heading levels to display in the Word navigation pane. The header styles in the Flare topics all have ...
