Re: Search tab is not working
I have just had to go through this process again after changing computers and as previously it solved the 'No topics found' search issue in CHM builds. However, this time the search entry box is defaulting to the last entered search term. While in itself this barely worth a mention, the key user has ...

Re: Changing the See Also text link to a button?
You've probaly already checked it out but how about using a hyperlinked text box in the meantime?
It can be formatted to be inset or outset etc to look like a button and dragged to resize.
Just a thought.

Re: Flare 7 editor CPU usage
Thanks for the tip Paul. I didn't feel like stumbling around for the answer in the middle of creating the post.
but as you can see here ->http://forums.madcapsoftware.com/faq.php it was very simple (and obvious) just as you suggested.

Re: Flare 7 editor CPU usage
Have you checked in Task Manager that hh.exe isn't running, perhaps even more than one instance? Each time it runs it uses up to 50% of cpu and impacts performance noticably. When running Flare 7 it doesn't shut down after veiwing CHM files so may be an issue for you.

Re: Internal error received during compile
HH.exe only seems to come into play when you view a CHM file so if you don't kill it with Task Manager before viewing a second CHM then you can end up with two copies running, and two times 50% = 100% = locked up PC, or that's the way it presents to me anyway. Has anyone put in a bug request yet ...

Re: Internal error received during compile
Yup Guys,
I'm getting those same issues here (compile problem and 50% CPU usage from hh.exe) since installing Flare 7. Task manager seems to be the only solution at present. While it's unconfirmed, sometimes hh.exe seems to come up again of it's own volition after nuking it with TM
Very annoying.

Re: Skin editor
John,
have you found out any more about why the 'Home' button on mobile topics displays the 'visited' colour? Not being able to change this is frustrating for me as I, like 8+% of the population, have a red/green colour perception deficiency and with a purple corporate background for the button, the ...

Flare, Javascript & iPhones
While trying to get some functionality working in a mobile targeted Flare project, I discovered an article with the title 'It looks like Java is next on Apple's kill list' at the following link:
