Re: Can you open multiple topics at once?
Yeah, I keep multiple tabs open all the time. I was just hoping you can open a bunch at once the same way you can with Word docs (as you mentioned). Alas.
Thanks for your prompt responses.

Re: Can you open multiple topics at once?
For the same reason as having multiple tabs in a browser open. It's nice to be able to quickly swap between multiple topics while you're editing one of them, so you can cross reference things.
Also, there are times when you have to make edits or add new content to many files. Why not open the 5-10 ...

Can you open multiple topics at once?
Painfully dumb question ... is there a way from within the Content Explorer to open multiple topics at once, rather than clicking to open one at a time? I feel like I'm missing something incredibly obvious.

Re: Use TOC depth for headings in TOC, but not in main body?
Thanks for your prompt reply! So, there's not an automated way to do it. I was afraid you were going to say that.
I did think of the solution you suggested, but I agree, it's better in this case to disable the option and use the p styles you mentioned. Thanks!

Use TOC depth for headings in TOC, but not in main body?
Hi everyone,
Do you know if it's possible to select "Use TOC depth for heading levels" but ONLY have it reflected in the TOC, and NOT reflected in the main body as well? From the documentation, it doesn't seem like this is possible (*le sigh*), but wanted to know if there's a workaround anyone has ...

Re: Cross reference format not working for online output
Thanks for the input. In the version of Flare I'm using (V8), I don't think I need to manually add any pseudo classes, since they already show up for the parent MadCap:xref style and its classes.

Re: Cross reference format not working for online output
Okay, I changed the CSS settings in the default medium as well, but unfortunately this didn't solve the problem. My web output still shows the entire xref in blue. What's more, when hovering the mouse pointer over an xref, an underline shows up for the whole line (even though I set the text ...

Cross reference format not working for online output
For my online output, I updated the non-print "mc-format" property of the "MadCap:xref" style to have the following format:
See {color #0088ce}{paratext}{/color}.
In addition, I have set the font color to be #000000. This means that both the word "See" and the period (".") in the cross reference ...

Re: Lowercase the Output folder
Okay, I tried this out, and works just fine. I set my Output destination to one directory, and set my Publish destination to a different one. As you said, the publish function simply copies the output files to another directory, and does not carry over the "Output" folder or the output file folder ...

Lowercase the Output folder
Hi, everyone. For the Webhelp 2.0 (HTML 5) output, is it possible to lowercase the "Output" folder that gets generated? So for example, instead of
Output\(output file name)\Default.html
I would like to see
output\(output file name)\Default.html
The reason I am asking is that we're trying to ...
