Re: Upgrade Flare 10.2 possible malware?
I've had this problem with just about every version of Flare. It's possible to add an exclusion to Avast. Go to Settings >Active Protection >File system Shield (click the little gear) > Exclusions > Add. Add the path to the flare folder (C:\Program Files...)

Re: Is it safe/possible to cut-and-paste stylesheet tags?
It is possible and (fairly) safe. You can combine two media in the same style sheet by putting the print medium inside a special tag:
@media print
{
/* css overrides and new styles for print go here */
}
If the non-print is your default medium, the styles inside the @media print block are ignored ...

Prevent line breaks on underscore character?
We have a lot of values, structures, etc., with underscores in the name, for example, ROLE_ADMIN or _EXTERNAL. In code blocks, we use the <pre> tag, and they are not a problem, but we also use them in-line text and Flare is breaking these on the hyphen, for example:

prevent http syntax from being converted to a link?
Hi,
I document web-based software that lives in an application server. As such, we have a large number of sample, non-functional, URLs in our documentation, for example:
http://localhost:8080/oursoftware/somepage (see, it did it here!)
or
<schema xmlns="http://www.ourco.com/2007/SL/XMLSchema ...

Spacing between heading number and text in TOC
I have a print TOC with Chapter and section numbers followed by the section heading. My original headings have autonumbering, set in the h1, h2, h3 styles. The TOC is set to show the Autonumber & the text. So we get:
Chapter 1 This is a Chapter
1.1 This is a Section
1.1.1 This is a Subsection ...

Re: delay upgrade to 9?
Let me give a little more detail. I am part of a team that is transitioning from Frame to Flare. There are a couple of people - not me - who have been using Flare for about a year in a limited way. Now we have to roll it out across the whole team and we want to be all on the same version. Our time ...

delay upgrade to 9?
Is there any way to disable the auto-update from Flare 8 to Flare 9? I am just learning Flare and I don't want to deal with changes until I have things under control.
Thanks
Thanks
