Glossary Woes!
Hi all,
I have some problems with my Glossary (one is I think a bug). I hope someone can help. I also think that the current 2 different options of entering and displaying glossry items each have built-in drawbacks that I descibe below - but maybe I am missing something.

Re: "Chapter Break" topics are always on a new page
Thank You Lydia and KC,
I finally got it to work more or less how I want it to.
KC, you have a typo in your example
h1.chapterNoBreak
page-break-before: avoid
mc-auto-number-format: GH:{n}.{n}.{n+}
The mc-auto-number-format should be just {n+}.

Hi,

Re: Questions about capture images and translation
Hi,
Thanks for the quick and detailed replies,
There's a command in Capture with which one can REPLACE the background image, so the English background image could be replaced with, say, the French background image, and then the callouts could be translated into French.
Is that the "Recapture Image ...

Questions about capture images and translation
Hi,
I am using Flare 9.1 and Capture 6.0 to produce webhelp2 and PDF outputs.
I was really happy to find that I could single source my screenshots, and even use object layers to have cropped images in my PDFs and uncropped images in my webhelp outouts.

Yes, I am using IE8.
It doesn't happen in other browsers.
Don't know why I couldn't find that post.
Thanks for pointing it out.

Problem with repeating icon images in toolbar
Hi,
I am using Flare 9.1. In my HTML 5 output, the toolbar and search icons are repeating when you enlarge enlarge the window (ctrl +).
Is this a bug (and if so when will it be fixed), or is there a problem with my skin? As you can see, I am using the default icons so I did not change the default ...

Nita, you are a genius!
I tried your suggestion and was able to get the exact results that I wanted within minutes. The editing of each screenshot takes less than 30 seconds. The PDF is not bloated but is in fact smaller since the images that it contains are smaller (makes sense right :D ). The web ...

MiniTOC and Autonumbering formatting question
Hi,
I am using Flare 9.1, Mini Tocs, and autonumbering (see screenshot below).
In the PDF output I have managed to remove the underline from the entries, and the Mini Toc now looks almost how I want it.
But I cant for the life of me find how to make these changes:

Re: Problem with Tables
It may be because of the content in the merged cell at the bottom of the table. If you remove the last row, does it resize to fit correctly?
Yes, the culprit is the last merged cell. If I remove the text, the remaining cells are resized correctly.
Looks like a problem with the behaivor of tables ...

I just upgraded and evrything still works.
However, the indentation of several of my styles in the PDF output has changed (now indented more to the right).
I know that I did not make changes in my style sheet.
Did this happen to anyone else?

Re: HTML 5 Background Gradient Not Working
Hi all,
Clarification: The gradient is displayed correctly in all browsers except IE. I am using IE8, not IE9.

HTML 5 Background Gradient Not Working
Hi,
I want to use the BackgrounGradient setting in my HTML 5 output.
But no matter what I set in the skin, the result in the output is not a gradient. It is just a solid color.
For example, the setting shown in the Main Page in the screenshot below does not produce a blue gradient for the main page ...

Re: Help in Flare suddenly became very small
No, resetting the window layout made no difference at all.
What controls the size of the font/contents in the Flare help panes?
I tried CTRL + but that makes no difference either.

Help in Flare suddenly became very small
Hi,
In Flare 9, the help that opens inside Flare (in the main pane on the right side) has suddenly changed to use a very small font. I cant find any way to increase the fontsize to make the help readable.
The font size was ok until a few days ago, but then I must have hit a combination of keys and ...
