This has been frustrating us for some time, and we've gone back to v11.
Support said this after we opened a bug:
"Starting in Flare 2017 r2, MadCap upgraded the version of Foundation that is being used. In order to move our products forward, we need to make changes to our output files. The changes ...

Re: Google Chrome bug?
Oh and to clarify, the fix wipes out styling when in place during a build. it needed to be put in the file post-build.

Re: Google Chrome bug?
Ermahgerd I just fixed it for our tri-pane help, and it was a silly interpretation on my part.
What did not work: putting the @namespace fix in our master CSS only

Re: Google Chrome bug?
Oh a tip when testing in Chrome: right-click on the Chrome icon and choose "New incognito window" and it opens a window with no caching.

Re: Google Chrome bug?
Yes, thanks all, for posting here! I checked a bunch, and verified that our stylesheet had this:
/*<meta />*/
@namespace MadCap url(http://www.madcapsoftware.com/Schemas/MadCap.xsd);
Adding it to the live server CSS made no difference, so I ran a build with the updated CSS. The output had our ...

Re: Google Chrome bug?
When is the patch coming out?
I tried method 2 (apply directly to hosted css without a build) but it didn't work. I will try method 1 now and see if a build resolves it.
But knowing when the patch will come will help me allocate my time. I don't want to spend hours trying to fix something that ...

Heard back from MadCap:
"With the recent Chrome 47 update, Google changed it's procedures to now accept "namespaces" for the CSS which causes this issue. Since we do not know of when or if Chrome is going to revert back, MadCap is developing an update that will add a "namespace" to the CSS. This ...

Re: Google Chrome bug?
Thanks for the info, djohnson! That didn't fix our issue, but maybe if we keep working at namespace variations, we'll stumble on a fix that works for us.
Haven't heard a reply yet from MadCap from the bug i opened yesterday. Will update here if I hear any ideas from them.

Re: Google Chrome bug?
This has hit us as well. Currently looking at css updates to resolve it, but so far no luck for us with our tri-pane HTML5 help.
A co-worker who outputs frameless got it fixed by adding the following line to the top of the CSS file (before the @media rule):

Create an app
Hi -
Sorry if this is not the brightest question . . . BUT . . . we want to make an app of our product help documentation. My question is, when we are done making our WebHelp Mobile project, then do we NEED to have some other tool to make that content into an app? Like, Appcelerator or something ...

How to use a snippet as popup text
Hi -
We are trying to create popup text boxes call to a snippet as the text body. That is, instead of manually typing the popup text, we want to pull in a snippet to populate the text.
How do we do this?
