Re: Error found after extract PDF output from Madcap.
FYI, following up on a tip I saw on this thread https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1481428 I decided to try taking OUT my OTF font. I went to the stylesheet and changed "body" font from Open Sans to Times New Roman (ugly, but good for a test). Suddenly the problem with deleting pages from the resulting ...

Re: Error found after extract PDF output from Madcap.
Hopefully it's not too late for a reply on this thread.
I'm having the same issue with Flare 11. Tagged PDFs have an error in them when I try to further manipulate the PDF in Acrobat.
Specifically, I'm trying to delete some pages in Acrobat and I get the error "An incorrect structure was found in ...

Re: How do I see progress during publish via SFTP?
Thanks for confirming that I'm not missing something Mike.
This seems like an unfortunate oversight in the system.

How do I see progress during publish via SFTP?
I have previously only used Flare to create PDF outputs, but now with top nav in Flare 11, I'm just about ready to launch our new online help! I'm testing with uploading to our sftp server to understand how well it works for automating publishing.
I'm new to publishing this way with Flare, and I ...

Re: Oddly jagged bullet list in PDF
Thanks! Understood re the xref text. :)
I'm actually not able to edit that space in any way from the XML editor (i.e. on the individual topic page). It doesn't appear and I can't seem to delete it from there. I'll need to go look at each topic and manually erase the space from within the text ...

Re: Oddly jagged bullet list in PDF
Thanks, that's a really good tip. I thought it might be the key, because at one point we did have breaks in our headings. I took a look, and there were no breaks.
But, really (really) strangely, that showed me the issue. There is a space before the heading text in some of the topics!

Thanks for the reply!
Those two are conditional. Here is the text view:

Oddly jagged bullet list in PDF
I am creating PDF targets for my manuals. (Currently this is my only output type.) I notice that bulleted lists are appearing oddly with the text jagged instead of in a single line, as though some of the items have a space before them.

Thanks Rob!
I've installed .NET 4.5.1. I will report back tomorrow to let folks know if that resolved the issue for me!

Re: Keyboard stops working (Flare 10)
I tried various buttons on the ribbon and local topic toolbar after the last lockup without success.
In case it makes a difference, I'm on Windows 7, 64-bit.

Re: Keyboard stops working (Flare 10)
Ooh, thanks for the tip - I'll try that next time.
I'm pretty sure that I tried making something a bulleted list and that didn't fix it - but I'll try to find ones that do!

Keyboard stops working (Flare 10)
I've only recently started using Flare, but in the last month or so I never ran across this problem with Flare 9, but run across it multiple times per day with Flare 10.
My keyboard stops typing in Flare.
Sorry for the over-use of colour and italics there, but this is really very frustrating.
