Apologies if this is a rudimentary question, but I can't seem to find a reliable answer in searching.
Is there a way to specify that headings of a certain level (and their subsequent contents) be treated as dropdowns? In our case, we want everything at the H3 level to be a dropdown/expandable ...

Re: Mangled fonts in PDF output: how to fix?
As it turns out, this is because of bad interaction between Windows 7's magnify feature and PDF generation:

A bit of a roof pig, but that's Windows for you, I guess.

Mangled fonts in PDF output: how to fix?
Hi:
We're using Open Sans in our documentation, and I am having an issue that none of my coworkers can replicate. When I generate any PDF target for any of our products, I get output that looks like this:
font-trouble.PNG
It looks like somewhere in the generation process, the character spacing ...

Building documentation sites/portals

Re: Importing directly from SVN repo versus local project
I'm speechless. This isn't even bad design. This is stupid design.Dave Lee wrote:You're not doing anything wrong - a Flare project import can only get files from a local or network drive (not source control).
Off to file an RFE, but I'm not optimistic about my chances.
Thanks for the answer.

Importing directly from SVN repo versus local project
Hi:
Are we doing something wrong here?
We have a "Library" project that contains content we share across multiple projects.
What we want is for that project, when imported and/or updated, to pull directly from the latest copy of the SVN root. That is, when the project is included or imported, to ...

View index markers for a specific folder?
Howdy:
I want to clean up the index for a PDF target that is generated using only content from a subfolder. The index viewer window seems to give me only lists of all index markers anywhere in the project.

Major performance issues with V10 on virtualized Windows 7
I'm using V10 with Windows 7 Enterprise through VMWare Fusion, and I am seeing absolutely terrible behavior: endless (Not Responding) messages, UI redraws taking several seconds, complete paralytic lockups at arbitrary intervals, and the like.

Make H2's expandable sections of a previous H1
We have a command reference that contains several hundred commands, each of which has three basic sections: an overview, syntax, and examples.
The overview is an H1, but the examples and syntax topics are H2s (with their own H3s).
Is there a simple way to tell Flare to make all of the H2's ...

Flare 10 SVN performance
I just upgraded from 9 to 10, and I'm seeing a drastic degradation in SVN performance. On an existing project, I'm seeing at least a doubling in the time Flare takes to get latest version all, update the pending check-ins list, and perform SVN actions.
Has anyone else trialed Flare 10 with SVN, and ...

Re: Flare 10 released
Can we use both Flare 9 and Flare 10 in the same environment? We have a team of five, and we want to have one person test 10. If that person saves in 10, will the 9 users still be able to work with the project?
