oops I'd installed 32 bit version. Working fine now after installing 64 bit version.
Thank you.

Flare 12 won't display EPS images
My project contains some .eps images that display fine in Flare 11. When I open the same files in Flare 12 the .eps images don't display.
I've installed Ghostscript but still no .eps images.

Finally solved.
Have to hold my head down in shame and say that I was inserting the CH: stream into the non-print medium!
I discovered that:
Using
{chapnum} for Heading 1
{chapnum}.{n+} Heading 2
The Heading 2's would not increment in following topics (that start with an Heading 2)

Re: Nested Topic Autonumbers
Sorry emachs, I added a bit of confusion in my last post.
I am actually using the same stream as you suggest:
CH:{chapnum} = H1.Heading1
CH:{chapnum}.{n+} = H2.Heading2
In the stylesheet they are setup as as H1.Heading1 and H2.Heading2

Re: Nested Topic Autonumbers
Hi Steve,
I don't have a Chapter break set on the Topics.
The H2s are using the same stream as the H1.
As a background, this project will contain hundreds of small topics.

I'm talking about Headings Lisa (H1, H2). This may explain things a little simpler:
My headings are configured:

H2: {chapnum}.{n+}

Nested Topic Autonumbers
I have several Flare projects that use basic Topic = Chapter etc for printed output.
For the first time I tried nesting some topics within another topic (in the TOC).
e.g. I have:

Topic a (none) H2
Topic b (none) H2

Re: Word Target A4 Size?
Hi Margaret,
I'm not sure what you mean by "Have you set up a page layout for the PDF that you want to re-use for the Word output"?
I've set up a target with output type "Word". I already have "Disable Master Pages..." checked.
My page layouts are all A4 size but the Word output file is letter size?

Word Target A4 Size?
My flare project is set up for pdf output A4 size.
However when I export to Word the Word output .doc file always defaults to Letter size. I've searched the forums, documentation etc but can't see where to change this?

Thanks for your reply.
When I create a "Table Caption" from the Table Properties (Text) dialog I don't get an option to change the class if I right-click the resulting table title?

Table Numbering and Repeat
I have a couple of auto-number streams setup for Tables (CT:Table) and Figures (CF:Figure) that work fine.
I use these with p.CaptionTable and p.CaptionFigure
However, with large tables that span more than one page the caption obviously doesn't automatically repeat.

Re: Output conditioned text only?
My files contain paragraphs that are conditioned. Am I still able to add "common" conditions to unconditioned paragraphs within each file?
If so can you please elaborate?
Thanks.

Thanks. Our Figure legend style is centred on the page - would this make a difference to the alignment using your method as it isn't ranged from the left margin?

I'm having problems with my "Figure" cross reference formatting for my pdf output.

Re: Extra Line Spacing (since six days ago) in Output
I found the problem that was causing my extra line spacing. This was briefly suggested earlier in this thread.
My Windows 7 Screen display is set to "Medium 125% (default)". I changed this to "Smaller 100%" and the output line spacing with images is correct.
