I think this is getting closer.
Cubreporter51, would I add this CSS to the main Flare project style sheet, or the table style sheet in question?

Table Columns expand when generating HTML5 help
I have two table style sheets for a doc set (based off of the provided table styles with only color changes), and when editing the topics and creating tables, the content fits fine in the table and looks normal - i.e., width of cell matches the text within it. However, once I generate the help, the ...

Re: Modifying Hyperlink Styles
Thanks Lydia for the thoughtful reply. I found the solution, and you are right: It was a matter of style sheet mediums. It's a little confusing with the different mediums since I thought non-print (for an HTML5 target) would have done the job, but now I see that the default medium serves as the mast...

Modifying Hyperlink Styles
I scoured these forums, the flare docs, and even tried google for an answer, but I cannot figure out how to change the style of my topics' hyperlinks - e.g., color when not clicked, hover, after click, etc. I found two possibilities in the Style sheet: 'a' pseudoclass (active, focus, hover, link, vi...

Re: Remove all Nav tabs from HTML5 output
HI Lydia, and thanks for the thoughtful reply.
I tried your suggestion and it almost works. The tab disappears, but the icon still shows up. Just a sad little orphan of an icon of the book.
I tried zeroing out all the tabs' values, and that little guy still shows up.

Remove all Nav tabs from HTML5 output
This may have been covered in these forums, but I wasn't able to find an exact answer. I was looking for a way, in an HTML5 skin, to hide the all of the tabs in the Navigation panel. I can figure out how to hide the Index tab and the Glossary tab, but there doesn't seem to be a means of hiding the C...

Remove Search Widget from HTML5 target?
Is there a way to completely remove the search widget from the HTML5 target?
In the skin editor, I can easily find how to customize and stylize that search widget, but not remove it. I am interested in removing that widget.
Thanks,
-Patrick

Re: Anyone try to use Atlassian Stash as a repository?
I sent a query to MadCap to ask about Stash, since we just moved from Github to Stash, and seems like they do not support it yet. The reply: “It’s part of Source Control and we do not offer integration at this time. We do have a feature request for this and I added the user to that request. If i...

Has anyone got this to work? I love Dave's excellent tutorial, yet after going through it several times, the search bar is still in the upper right. Any tips?

Removing Search Bar Drop Down - HTML5 output
I am customizing our HTML 5 skin for our online help, and I cannot figure out how to remove the menu from the search bar. Does anyone one know where to remove those menu items from in the Skin editor? The skin editor does not show the menu, but when I generate help, there is it. Thanks!

Hi Nita, I just purchased the book you mentioned, since it seems to have a tutorial chapter on building book/PDF output. And, I just found that webinar on the Madcap site. And, I will also check our her bog as well. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide these resources. Much appreciated! ...

PDF Target Output - Resources?
Does anyone know of any resources (free or paid) that instruct someone, from start to finish, how to setup a output target for PDF? I have setup our entire doc set into flare, customized the style sheets, and now am able to create good looking online help for our product. Now my goal is to set up ne...

For the sake of capturing problems and solutions, here's the issue. I had configured external publishing of the HTML 5 web help with an option selected that only works with Windows/IIS/.net. See attached image. When I deselected the option, all was well and HTML 5 content displays. Thanks for replyi...

HTML 5 Output on Apache
Would anyone know if one is serving up the HTML 5 output generated by Flare on an Apache web server, if there is a module or any sort of extra configuration one needs to do on Apache for the HTML 5 output to display correctly? I have published our HTML content to our internal apache web server, and ...

Video Output in HTML 5 Skin - Thumbnail?
This may be captured somewhere, but In Madcap Flare 10.2, I am inserting mp4 videos into my topics and I am not sure how to control the size of the video in the generated output. The view displays very large in the output, e..g, you can't even see the whole video unless you make the browser very lar...

HTML 5 Output - Adding Links to the Header
Does anyone know if there is a topic or article that describes how I would add href links to the Header of HTML 5 output? I have attached a screenshot mockup. The idea is that we could have custom links in the header of the HTML 5 output that links to different areas of content outside of the HTML 5...
