Hi,

I'm using Flare 11 and windows 8 and am having an issue publishing to sharepoint. If I check upload log file for my destination and then publish it works. If upload log file is unchecked I get the following error:

Has anyone here had a similar issue? I've ...

Re: HTML5 MP4 Fullscreen Issues

Hi sorry to bump this again. I checked my ie settings and I'm not sure what I should look for exactly and can;t see anything relating to fullscreen video etc. Could anyone provide me with any pointers or other ideas to explore? I maybe should have mentioned that I reduced the mp4 size within the ...

Re: TOC proxy draws line on top of each TOC page

Hi, I'm also having this issue. I'm running version 9 of Flare and am looking at the Madcap | tocproxy properties but am not sure exactly what to change. I tried changing the background and text of the font to white but the line still appears. And the advanced tab only has the following options ...

Re: Sizing image for use in skin...

There was a problem with resizing images that had transparency. See http://forums.madcapsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=11069&p=62721&hilit=transparent+resize#p62721
I'm not sure, whether that still is a problem or is fixed.
Is there any resizing involved in your case?

Thanks for your response ...

Re: Sizing image for use in skin...

And when I bring a jpg file in, there seems to be a 1px white line around the image. My source image doesn't have the line, so it must be something when it comes into Flare.

Also having this issue, would anyone have any ideas? Also getting it with other file types such as GIF and PNG. Much ...

Thanks again! Those three things worry me but I'll see how I feel after this training which starts tomorrow. I'll come back after, hopefully with some more confidence:)

Re: A Few Beginner Questions

Thanks for the responses/encouragement Sylverre and ChoccieMuffin!

As for importing existing material, I would like to but my tech comms manager and I just don't envisage it being a smooth process. I will try of course but if it becomes too troublesome I may just copy and paste content in.

I would ...

A Few Beginner Questions

Hi, hope it's OK to do a post like this, not familiar with forum etiquette etc! I've been a tech writer for about 9 month. So far we've only been using Word documents then publishing to PDF and now is the time to start single sourcing before things get out of hand. I'm trying to get familiar with ...
