Re: Word wrap in menu bar of Top Nav skin

I'd be interested to know, MadScrappa, what your solution ended up being.

Hi djohnson, for us the solution was based on utilising the space that the logo uses to extend the headings. The Mad Cap Support team responded with details of SKIN settings that allowed us to encroach on the logo space. I ...

Re: Slideshow issues in iframe

UPDATE - Tech Support confirmed this issue is caused by a Bug. A Bug Report has been submitted. Oh bother! Disappointing but relieving that it wasn't something we had done #stilllearning

Slideshow issues in iframe

Hi

We have just converted our first project to the Top Nav template and used the slideshow feature in the Home page topic. When we published the output in an iframe the slideshow doesn't appear  . Instead the area is blank and the space the slideshow took up on the page is expanded to 3 times ...

Re: Word wrap in menu bar of Top Nav skin

A screen shot would be useful, just to clarify if you mean the actual menu or the drop down level menus. I had a similar sounding issue because we didn't have a logo in the header and wanted the menu to extend from left to right. The headings wrapped to have two levels above the search bar and we ...

Text Popups on Tablet View

Hi Everyone,

We have noticed that when viewing our HTML5 output on a Tablet that the Popup Text behaves differently to Browser. When you "tap" the highlighted text then popup appears but remains on screen and I cannot hide it unless I perform another function (like expand a drop down heading). All ...

Tablet Medium Skin - Help!

Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to customise the HTML5 skin of a project that will have some users access the help via a browser on a PC AND on a Tablet. So hence my journey into Tablet Mediums... I'm a little confused as to whether I can even make changes to the Navigation pane that appears when the ...

Re: IE11 Compatibility Mode Issues

Just updating this post in case anyone in the future has similar issues.

Great news, issue resolved following consultation with our SOE team. it was an internal IE11 policy that was causing this problem, PHEW!

IE11 Compatibility Mode Issues

Hi all,

I'm looking for some advice on how to manage an issue we are experiencing in IE11 with a Web-based output and the effect of using compatibility mode.

We have conducted an initial test for our first Flare project using a Web HTML5 output where the output is wrapped in an 'iframe' within an ...

Re: Invalid XML

Update - found the cause of my issue, a missing table start tag, don't ask me how it went missing but I'm just glad it's fixed. Phew! :D

Was simple enough to find once I understood that each tag has a start and end and when I couldn't find the start tag I put one in and the problem was solved ...

Re: Invalid XML

Thanks so much, that makes sense, I removed the offending / and then then warning updated to: invalid syntax on or inside 'body' tag located on line 6.

If you could please clarify one more thing for me.....Does this new warning mean that in the Body of the file there is another issue OR is it only ...

Invalid XML

Hi

I'm a brand new untrained Flare User of 3 weeks and am fumbling my way through my first project. I'm completely new to XML and I've got a file that contains invalid XML, that has a message advising of the details of the issue that states - The 'html' start tag on line 2 position 2 does not ...
