OK, solved. Sorry for the noobie misunderstanding...
It was the Medium issue. Once I made the changes in the 'default' medium, it worked fine.

Style class doesn't 'stick'
Hi folks,
I've added a style class (p.copyright) that adds a red line above a paragraph. This looks OK in the preview at the bottom of the stylesheet editor, but when I apply the class to a paragraph in a topic, nothing happens - no red line. What am I missing?
