I have this same problem "error loading in-box: Specified part does not exist in the package".
This post is already very old but against all odds I thought to ask anyway whether you could get the problem fixed?
I would be grateful if you could share your experience.

Re: HTML DOM parsing
Please ignore my question: I realized that Flare 2020 does come with a Find and replace of elements!
Finally! That is what I needed.

HTML DOM parsing
We use MADCAP Flare but we receive from partners documents in various formats: Google Doc Doxygen Latex Sphynx From these documents I can save HTML or MS Word documents but the tags are not at all clean. For example: I want to replace <div class="math notranslate nohighlight">\r\n\\\[(.*(?...

In case someone still reads this topic:
to get the images rename the pptx to .zip. Unpack it e.g. with 7zip and there you will have all the images in the media folder.

Re: How do I repeat a footnote?
This is exactly what I need to do but reading this I get really scared.
Indeed the workaround is not pretty even if it is great to share it here at least to unblock the courageous.
I hoped that in the meanwhile MADCAP has come up with a proper way to do this but I don't find any.

It looks like I have the same problem. I will check it as my topic title does not have variables. I will try your workaround.

Re: Expanding text issues
Same problem here. For me the biggest problem is the justified alignment. Sad to see that this is something that is apparently pending already for quite a while.
Anybody found a way to get around this?

Use bookmark text instead of paratext in cross-reference
I have a bookmark in a h1 topic heading like this: <h1><a name="bookmark1">Example</a> Class Commands</h1> Now I wish to insert a cross-reference in another topic so I write: In the <MadCap:xref href="Example.htm#Example">Example</MadCap:xref> the various class commands... In my ...

Re: Expanding text issues
I seem to have the same issue so sorry, can't help you further yel.
In my case indeed it forces the text to the next line but even worse, it changes the alignment of the original line to justified and this looks really bad

Re: Animated gifs on WebHelp Toolbar
I face the same problem.
I know it is many years later but maybe someone has some new insights into the reason for some animated gifs not to loop?
I have only one that shows only once in my HTML5 output and then it stops.

Re: Flare 12: No Usable Workflow for Equations
Amazed to discover this at a moment where I am almost forced to move to Flare 12: Flare 11 is troublesome for the equation editor as well as many of my colleagues reported problems. But instead of fixing it, the functionality (of the equation editor) is simply dropped... As a software vendor myself,...

Re: A new paragraph style
Thank you very much Kristen, Indeed defining a class of p would work but this would create long tags like <p class="tooltip"> and I was hoping there would be something that would look a bit cleaner especially for those who would use it in a text editor. But I guess there is no such way. Th...

I would like to provide our software developers a file that they can read to include tool tips in our interface. At the same time I would like our documentation team to be able to edit the file easily in Flare and Contributor. So I would like to make the xml or html file as clean as possible with ea...

Re: Topic Stylesheet is the Wrong One, How Change?
Do you have a stylesheet defined on the project level? Or on the target level? If I am not mistaken in that case you can not define a stylesheet on the topic level. At least that is what I remembered from this post: https://forums.madcapsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=26386&p=116516&hil...

Re: Numbered lists show unexpected font. Plz assist....
Any news on this subject? I think I experience the same problem when using outside-head for the auto-number-position in a h1 heading class. If I use the definition as copied below for the default medium in the .css, the xml editor shows it correctly but when I make the HTML5 preview or build the out...

Here I have the same problem: those in our team who updated to Java 8 build 60 can not launch the Equation Editor. We tried then on that machine to remove build 60 and install build 45 instead as this one works on other machines. Unfortunately that did not help as now launching the equation editor r...

I have two projects that I would like to merge. Each of them has a different style sheet defined at project level.
