Re: Unable to generate PDF 2020 R2: Cannot import a null nod

The problem has disappeared after I accepted all review changes that were in the first file of my document. It's a mystery, but no longer an issue for me.

Unable to generate PDF 2020 R2: Cannot import a null node

I'm running Flare version 2020 R2 and I just started getting this error when I create a PDF with track changes preserved. ... Linking cross-references... Creating chapters... Build failed: Cannot import a null node. I tried removing the Analyzer and the Output folders for my project. I removed the A...

Re: New code snippet editor - PDF output looks like a table

Just in case anyone else runs into this issue, I resolved it by adding the following to my stylesheet (manually). MadCap|codeSnippetBody table td { border-right: solid 1px none; border-top: solid 1px none; border-bottom: solid 1px none; padding: 0.0em; } MadCap|codeSnippetBody table { border: none; ...

Re: New code snippet editor - PDF output looks like a table

Update: As a test I changed the borders in my CSS for tables (in media print) to red and the result is the code snippet in the PDF has red rules, but so do all of my tables in the PDF. This is the original rules for table cells in my CSS. I changed the color from #cccccc to #ff0000 (red) as an exper...

Re: New code snippet editor - PDF output looks like a table

Yes, it makes no sense that the borders are only showing in the PDF output. The HTML looks fine. We do have borders on our tables in the PDF and I would not want to turn them off for our normal tables, only for the CodeSnippet div. I also tried other types of code setting besides XML and I still get...

New code snippet editor - PDF output looks like a table

I tried the new Code Snippet Editor to put an XML snippet on a page. The HTML5 output looks great, but in the PDF output, the code looks like it is in a one column table. Each line of the code is a row in a table with borders showing. I've experimented with all the CSS styling options (MadCap CodeSn...

SharePoint Explorer with 365 in Flare 2018 not working

Hi, I opened SharePoint Explorer and opened a connection to my SharePoint 365 and I got the green check mark as it is connected. In SharePoint Explorer, I see a node with the URL I specified. I click the right-pointing arrow and I get an empty SharePoint Login dialog box. The empty SharePoint dialog...

Re: Build Failed:Index was out of range. Must be non-negativ

Update: I discovered that Flare did not like one of my topics for some unknown reason. I've recreated that one topic and all is working now. More information. The topic that was causing an error has one heading, one paragraph, and a table. If I set a condition on the last row in the table, the error...

Re: Build Failed:Index was out of range. Must be non-negativ

I'm getting this same error. My project built fine in 11.0 and now I have 11.1.2 and the PDF and the HTML won't build. "Build failed: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index." I have no index in my project, but I expect i...
