Re: How to style menu drop down (Top Nav output)
Thanks, but I want to know how to style the container itself? Maybe I missed it on the help?

Re: Google Chrome bug?
Never mind, I fixed it by adding the code to the stylesheet after generating the output.

Re: Google Chrome bug?
I have Flare 9, and I added the fix manually. The hover issue has been solved, but some of my styling are gone now? Can anyone help me with this issue?

Display h1 only in PDF toc
Is it possible to display the h1 titles only in the table of contents for PDF output? I know I can assign the mc-heading-level at 0 to hide it, but the topic is also not displayed when I generate the output.

Re: Translating a HTML5 Output
If we decide to go with MadTranslations, is it as simple as giving them our Flare project and they'll take care of all the translation and generating the output? Also, what should I do as a technical writer, to make sure that our help content is ready and optimized for translation? TIA.

Translating a HTML5 Output
We need to translate our online help into six languages. What are the steps we need to take to get our content translated by another company? Should we make sure that they know how to work with Madcap Flare outputs? Thanks!

Dev needs help implementing Online Help
We are trying to implement CSH to our web application, but our dev is encountering the problem below.
1. Added the call to the needed JavaScript file
[Bundle File] bundles.Add(new ScriptBundle("~/Content/Flare").Include("~/Views/ReportHelp/FlareContextSensitiveHelp/csh.js"));
[Main Layout] @Scripts ...

Re: In-software Help
We're currently doing this in our web-based solutions. Flare acts as the content management system, and developers pull that content into javascript-based in-application windows. Been working great for us so far - only downside is the lack of mobile compatibility, but that's because the javascript ...

In-software Help
Would it be possible to do an inline/in-software help (http://demo.tutorialzine.com/2014/07/cs ... help-tips/) using Flare? I'm wanting to do this for our web application, where it's like a CSH, but instead of opening a new tab or window, the help is displayed right on the application.

Re: Field-Level Help using Flare
I implemented field level help using bookmarks within topics. Rather than one topic for each field I chose one topic for a set of fields within a dialog or page. You can assign map IDs and aliases to bookmarks the same way as you can with topic files. I liked the benefit for the user to be able to ...

Re: Field-Level Help using Flare
That will depend on whether you've selected that option (in the target, I'm pretty sure; sorry, I'm going on memory at the moment) to "Exclude files not linked directly or indirectly to the target" (or is it "to a TOC"?).
This solved my problem. Thanks again, Nita :) Sorry, one more question. I ...

Thanks, Nita. Do I have to include my field-level topic to my main TOC? I just tried testing my CSH and the topic won't show unless it's in the main TOC.
