Hi guys,
I'm trying to evaluate x-edit and can't find a way to view a reviewed topic and see where any changes were made, and then accept/reject those changes individually - is this possible with X-Edit Review?
cheers

Re: does anyone know what's in store in Flare 6
Flare 6 to work with Visual SourceSafe 6 would be a welcomed addition!

Re: Chrome support for Flare WebHelp
We've just discovered this issue as well - the Back arrow, which functions correctly in IE, returns to the default start page if you navigate a number of topics using the TOC or if you click an external link in a merged webhelp system.
Does anyone have a fix/workaround for this?
cheers

Make items in a relationship table into bullets
Hi all,
Can someone tell me how to make the items displayed as the result of a relationship table proxy into a bulleted list? I'm assuming you can, but I've trawled through the Madcap|RelationshipItems style elements with no luck.
Thanks
Dan

Re: Indexes not merging in merged HTML help
OK, i think i've managed to suss this out.
I had to re-reg itcc.dll, which didn't immediately fix the problem. I also had to remove and then re-add the Binary Index option to each of my sub-projects.

Indexes not merging in merged HTML help
The index in my merged help system has not included any entries from my sub-chms - only the entries from the master chm are displayed.
I know everything is set up correctly (binary index option selected, etc) because this was working. I have noticed the error since we upgraded to Flare 5.

Re: How do I create CSH in a Merged Project?
I must have shaken something loose, because the links now work across my merged webhelp system, using TOC links to external help systems (which happen to be Flare help systems).

Re: How do I create CSH in a Merged Project?
Dave/Trent,
Does the alias merging only work if you link to a Flare project and target in your TOC, as opposed to linking to an external help system?
I've used the latter way of linking, but struggling to get my CSH links in the sub-projects working.
cheers

Re: Getting started with FLare/VSS
As an update to this, Support seem to put it down to the version of VSS i'm using. I use version 6.
I could be wrong, but i don't seem to remember reading anywhere in the help that Source Control was only compatible with VSS 2005 onwards?!

Re: Getting started with FLare/VSS
I was testing with a project containing 3 topics(!), so perhaps performance is not the problem here.
Let's hope Support can come up with a solution (or Team Server) pretty soon.

Re: Getting started with FLare/VSS
Oddly enough, i tried the Get All... option about ten times, and one time it did actually collect the content files (but not the project files) after a v.long wait. I'm wondering if my request is timing out???

Re: Getting started with FLare/VSS
It's interesting that you say that Dave - that is exactly what we are doing. The result is that the flprj file is checked out OK but none of the contents of the Contents and Project folders follow; so when in Flare, the project looks empty.

Can someone please give me a helping hand to get started?

I'm sure you've found it by now, but if not, it's the a.popup style in your stylesheet. You can specify the dimensions using mc-popup-width and mc-popup-height.
I'm a little disappointed though. I was hoping that you could resize each individual popup. The auto-resizing works well most of the time ...
