Re: Close a Topic Sent for Review By Another Author
Thanks for replying, Roger but that doesn't apply to my situation. The issue is not that the reviewer left the company (which is what the Central help file you linked to discusses). The issue is that the author who sent the topic out for review is no longer with the company. So, I am still in the sa...

Rob -
GRRR!!!! My update post that I wrote earlier didn't post!
I figured that out. That's what happens when trying to fix inherited problems. Once I added the body frame everything fell into place.
Thanks to the input!

Re: Page Template Not Showing in Topic Properties [Solved]
Didn't realize that the title page template I was using (I inherited) didn't have a body frame located somewhere on the template. Added one and solved issue.

Re: Page Layout Question
Thanks, Rob. I guess I should have been more detailed in my post. Yup - I've tried all the troubleshooting with the TOC entry/auto-end settings/etc. I've reached out to Madcap support at this point to see what they have to say. Just to clarify - the "extra" page is occurring when I...

Page Layout Question
Hello all - Ok - I had this issue several year ago however I cannot remember how I solved it and I don't have the time right now to spend trying to figure it out. :D Hoping that the collective propeller hive mind can help. I created a page layout that contains a title page (T) and a normal page (N)....

Re: Page Template Not Showing in Topic Properties
Thanks for the reply, Dave.
Turns out it was just user error. I wasn't applying the Revision_Record.flmsp (yup - I mistyped it in my original post) to the topic correctly. Been a while since I've had to use these regularly so I just missed a step. Appreciate the help.

Hi all - Hope someone can help. I created a page template (Revision_Record.htm) in my main/global project where all styles/page layouts etc. are stored. In a new project, I imported the main project. Created a new topic. Opened topic properties to apply the above page template but it does not show i...

Re: Second-level heading number appears as 0.
Welcome to the forums Muralisk. Am I right in assuming your H1 and H2 number correctly? My guess (if I am wrong hopefully someone will correct me) is that in this section for H3: h3 { mc-auto-number-offset: 12mm; mc-auto-number-format: '{chapnum}.{n}.{n+}'; mc-auto-number-position: inside-head; } th...

Flare to Wordpress Integration/Export
Hello, I've spent some time looking for posts/resources on importing Flare topics/help into a WordPress environment. The few posts/articles I've found are from 2009/2014 etc. and they discuss working with WebHelp (which is being deprecated by MadCap). Is there anyone out there who has any current ex...

Confluence Images not Importing
Am just working for the first time with Confluence imports. Ran through the import with not problems except one. All files imported fine but the import failed to bring in the image files. Anyone else run into this issue and have a suggestion as to the cause and/or a solution? Thanks in advance. Eric

Re: "Error" Code in Messages?
Thanks for the input. I had just moved a significant number of files around as per our dev teams request for a new folder structure so that appears to have been the issue. Have not run into the message again now at all.

Automatically Zip Help Files on Publish
Hope someone here might know if this is possible. When publishing my HTML5 help system I want to be able to (if possible) create an output where the help file package comes out as a zipped folder. As of now I build/publish then manually go to the files and create a .zip package to share with dev. Is...

If I understand what you are looking for this should help. In Flare, 1. Click the Analysis tab. 2. Click the Links button and select "Boken Links" 3. In the broken links window that appears click the "Export Data to CSV file" button at the top of the broken links window/tab. That...
