Re: Source Code Formatting Puzzle
I'm not sure what you are doing to check XML in Notepad++ I'm using the UniversalIndentGUI plugin, which has a Check XML Syntax feature. I found that if I used the Pretty Print with Line Breaks feature, the formatting carried over to Flare. Strange that doing manually didn't. Anyway, problem solved...

404 Not Found for URL with Plus Sign
Just in case anyone else experiences this: http://serverfault.com/questions/76013/iis6-vs-iis7-and-iis7-5-handling-urls-with-plus-sign-in-base-not-querystr This happens frequently with exports from Confluence as Word documents which are used as Word Imports. From Confluence, spaces are converted to ...

Re: Breadcrumb trail contents
The key drawback to the bookmarks solution is that it requires you to use a different master page for the repeated topics... one that does not have breadcrumbs on it. This is probably the number one problem for people who want breadcrumbs on every page.

Re: Breadcrumb workaround
Matze, take a look at this thread, where we decided on a different way to approach the same problem, without using snippets. This workaround uses bookmarks instead. Look to the bottom of the thread.

Re: Breadcrumb trail contents
I don't use breadcrumbs, but I found a solution to keep TOC sync working when a topic is used more than once in the TOC, and maybe this would work for your breadcrumbs too. In your repeated topics like Concepts, put some bookmarks at the top of the topic and link each TOC entry to a different one. ...

Re: Breadcrumb trail contents
I used this thread to understand breadcrumbs and come up with a pretty good solution ( I thought). In our TOC, we decided to explicitly show topics in categories like Concept, Task, Reference. The headings in the TOC reflect these categories for each product we have. But the description for the cont...

Re: Showing highlighted conditional-tagged text in output
I have this same requirement. Is there a way to "vote" on existing requirements? I can't find a way to actually see existing requirements. In any case, I submitted my version of this feature request.

Re: How do I create a cross-reference to a numbered step?
In order to xref to a specific number, the browser would first have to render the page to determine the resulting list numbers, then re-render the page to fill in the xref with the values that were determined in the first pass. Browsers aren't programmed to do that, so in order to do what you want,...

Re: Different Props Files for Same Background
I'm pretty sure the conditions and the variables are set "per build". So, yes: background same, callouts different. But I am talking about images across a series of screen captures in the same target, possibly even the same topic. Essentially I am curious about leveraging Capture's separat...

Different Props Files for Same Background
I have a question that seems the same as the one addressed by Jennifer the translation expert in another thread: How do I keep the same background image and apply different props? However, I am talking about WITHIN a single all-English project. Reason: I would like to be able to have one background ...
