Oh great thank you so much, both! I just needed to not be using the include option as you said.

Re: Target not dealing with TOC conditions properly
I even use the "target 1" and "target 2" conditions for bits of in-paragraph text, where it works as expected. I tried tagging both the topic and the TOC entries but this still hasn't removed excluded the topics from PDF output. So what could have gone wrong?

Target not dealing with TOC conditions properly
Hello,
I have been using condition tags and including/excluding them from targets for a while and it had been working great for me until I made a simple addition and suddenly it's not behaving as expected.

Re: Can't get footer to stay at bottom of page
So I managed to get it almost working by moving the footer out of the div and putting the parent element positioning on the next level up which is the body itself.
(To clarify, in my last post I did not mean the body element is in my div but the MadCap bodyproxy).
Now that my footer stays at the ...

Can't get footer to stay at bottom of page
Hi folks,
Try as I might I can't get a one-line copyright to remain at the very bottom of the browser in my online help.
I've put it into a masterpge, gave it position: absolute; left; 0; bottom; 0

Re: Build Terminated - "Writing search entry cache..."
It didn't do the trick for me.
After "Writing search entry cache" and "Generating final output" the build fails, with the error: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".
Before I was getting this error message and a failed build at an earlier part of the build with various "Warning ...

Re: HTML5 compiles all topics not just ones in TOC - why?
I managed to resolve the missing stylesheet issues. At least they don't appear in "warnings" anymore in the build. There are now 0 warnings but 219 'ignored warnings' which are not open for viewing in any way. Should I be concerned about ignored warnings?

Re: HTML5 compiles all topics not just ones in TOC - why?
By design Flare includes everything in the content folder in the output unless you explicitly set conditions that exclude the content. That is typically desired because a lot of content that needs to be in the help is not listed as entry in the ToC.

Re: HTML5 compiles all topics not just ones in TOC - why?
So I figured out the issue is a wrongly referenced table style, which is even harder to fix.
I once renamed the folder that table styles is in (Resources), then renamed it back to the original (because there are files that generate automatically in "Resources" so it defeated the purpose of renaming ...

HTML5 compiles all topics not just ones in TOC - why?
I am noticing that when I do an HTML5 build, Flare is running through all my topics in the Contents folder, not just the ones in the TOC associated with the HTML5 target - why does it do that? (I don't have this problem for PDF outputs for example).

Hi, thanks I got rid of that, but it's still not working, whether I set the property on "default" or on "print only".

Re: Strange bullet alignment
I am having a bullet alignment issue but I am not using custom bullets, just the regular circle bullets.
Instead of vertically aligning to the center of the text, they are slightly below the center, almost as if in line with the bottom of the text.
Any suggestions?

Re: Space at top of topics, page layout/stylesheet issue
Hi ChoccieMuffin,
I do have a separate class for in-line images with the line height for this image class set to be smaller than the text line height, with the rest of the values left blank, so i'm really unsure where this extra space is coming from.
Thanks!

Hi!
I have a somewhat similar issue in that I'm not sure how/why there is extra space appearing between lines when I have an in-line image in a paragraph (or list item, etc.).

I'm having the same blurry image problem. I am trying to create a table style with a fixed width first column so that it is uniform throughout the document and i'm having a few problems with it. I want there to be text in the left column and an image (various sizes, aligned to the left side of the cell) in the right column, and each of ...

I would like the pdf output to have each topic heading start on a new page. Currently it is appearing as several pages of continuous text with line breaks only but no page breaks. Re: Trouble getting conditional output to work with template
Thank you! Editing the TOC seems to work, but only for the pdf output (primary target).
How do i check which TOC is associated with the new html5 target i created? That format is still including the samples files and not my files.
Thanks.
