Search Bar default text & input text colors
I'd like to have the placeholder text in my search bar be #dcdcdc, but when the user enters a term, I'd like the text to be #636466. When I change the font color for the Search Input Style in my skin, both the placeholder text and the entered term are the same color. How do I achieve this? Thanks, J...

Generated Output won't scroll in any browser
Using Flare 2017 r3 on Windows 7. Tried IE and Chrome browsers with this. I've got a project using the Sunset template from Flare and I've modified to fit our needs. Everything has been working fine until recently. When I generate the Help, my pages no longer scroll. I've gone through to make sure t...

Responsive Cell Missing in Output
I'm using Responsive Design for my various outputs. When I preview, I can see the "Contact Us" button that I added as the last, 7th, cell, and it is formatted exactly like the others. Preview.jpg But when I generate the help and it opens to this page, that cell is missing. output.jpg Any c...

Re: Top Navigation Menu Styles
Here's what it looks like with lower level menu items displaying.
That gray around v7.7.30 in the graphic is what I want to display around both v.7.7.30 and v7.7 instead of each one individually.

Re: Top Navigation Menu Styles
Thanks. I've tried all combinations. That level does have a background color, similar to the one in Flare. I went line by line and compared mine to Flare's template....even had it set up for the exact same colors. But for some reason that block does not display around my lower-level menu/menu items.

Top Navigation Menu Styles
Hi all, I'm trying to set up my top navigation menu similar to Flare's, so I've used the same skin settings from a template and then modified the colors/font only. I'm close, but I can't seem to figure out how the drop-down part of the menu has a box in theirs, but not in mine. Where is this box def...

Re: Page Layouts Not Displaying Properly in PDF Output
I did add it as a background image. So during the conversion to PDF, it must be converting it to an individual image and making everything layered.

Re: Page Layouts Not Displaying Properly in PDF Output
AHA! I figured out what the problem is. I turned on editing in Acrobat and see the image is there, but it's behind everything on most of the pages. Not sure if this is a Flare setting I need to look at or a pdf setting. Somehow, I need to make sure that the Image is displaying in front, or maybe I'l...

Re: Page Layouts Not Displaying Properly in PDF Output
The Title page uses a separate page layout and works as it should. I'm not aware of any empty left pages in my layouts. Do you mean in the actual file (see graphic below)? Looks like it should to me. example1.png And my headings do not have page-break attributes. I'm currently working on a separate ...

Re: Page Layouts Not Displaying Properly in PDF Output
Thank you cdschroeder. I didn't know about the grid view, so I did look at that. My TOC only has 3 topics in it. example3.png example4.png The middle topic has 37 pages in it. (designed for html with drop-downs and such) So, the break types are not what's affecting it. I went back and viewed the pdf...

Page Layouts Not Displaying Properly in PDF Output
I have a problem with page layouts displaying properly. I have a Standard page layout for our clients, and an Internal page layout for our support team. I created a Watermark Image and applied it to the page layout properties and in the layout, it looks fine. example1.png In the TOC, I applied the p...

Styles of Variables Not Consistent
I have a snippet with a variable in it (message). Item1.png The snippet and variable work as they should. But the style of the variable in the TIP is smaller in the output. Item2.png My note style is Arial .92 em, and my variable style is set to use the default style where it's placed (though I've a...

Re: Question about Snippets, Conditions, and Togglers
Dave, Thank you for your reply.
The togglers are linked correctly because I have non-snippet information in each one, and those display correctly for each toggler.

Re: Question about Snippets, Conditions, and Togglers
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I generated the topic and it does not display properly. I'm not sure what I have set up incorrectly, but maybe someone can make some sense out of this: Snippet is called ScanImages. Within the snippet, I have one step that changes: * tagged as Single Image Condition --...

Question about Snippets, Conditions, and Togglers
I have a Snippet with two conditions.....one for scanning a single image, one for scanning batch images. I have a topic that will encompass scanning both single and batch images. So, I inserted the snippet and applied the single image Snippet Condition. I also included this and other information in ...

Navigation Slide Out and Logo
Hi,
Wondering how to separate the Navigation Slide Out Button from my logo. No matter what settings I try, it keeps the two items connected. WebHelp looks fine.
Using Flare 12, HTML5-Top Navigation skin.
Please see attachments.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
