Ideas for peer reviewing Top Nav output
We do peer reviews on all of our content after it's ouputted in Top Nav. We don't do it through Contributer, because a lot of people don't have MadCap or don't know the software (POs, developers, etc.). Right now, we basically request people to make lists of issues they find on the output (essential...

White margin on header in tablet and mobile on Top Nav?
When I build my Top Nav output, everything looks fine in web view, but in tablet and mobile, there's white spacing/margin on the right side of the page. It's not my skin, as I've set the head to 100% and tried to troubleshoot everything else, and still can't get anywhere with this. Any suggestions h...

Re: Removing a column for mobile view?
Thanks, Dave Lee, but I've tried that. It doesn't work. The menu doesn't display, but the column still remains as empty and the text doesn't span across the page.

Removing a column for mobile view?
Is there a way to remove the right column from the "othertopics" masterpage for the mobile view? I've removed the side menu for mobile and tablet view, but the content within those pages still only goes about 70% across the screen. I still want to keep the column and side menu for web view...

Slide-out menu in mobile view question (Flare 12)
I'm in Flare 12, and I'm having a problem when I drill down into a page in the mobile view. My problem is, when I drill down and go to a page within the help, I basically get stuck/dead-ended. When I select the Hamburger menu again, it only shows the top level topics. I've read the help showing you ...

Hyperlinks on images not working
Hi everyone! I've got an issue with hyperlinks on my images not working. They are styled as hover thumbnails, does that have anything to do with it? I'm trying to link out to a website. When I hover over it, the image enlarges like it's styled to do, but clicking it does nothing. Any help here? Than...

Perfect browser fit for Top Nav Home page
Hi everyone! I'm trying to get the Home page background image, header, and footer to be a perfect fit in a browser so no scrolling is required. All I have is the search bar on the home page, so it's pointless to scroll. However, I've tried setting the <body> height to 100% and it doesn't work. I did...

Re: Responsive layout in Master pages
Thanks, Dave. I'm in 12. I was under the impression that Zurb was implemented into the Flare Responsive layout feature. I think I figured it out either way. Thanks for the response!

Responsive layout in Master pages
Hi everyone. I'm trying to completely separate my side menu from my body content in my top nav output. When the side menu is floating right, it overlaps some things, so I'm trying to separate them completely. I know this is done through rows in the responsive layout (zurb), but I can't figure out ho...

Multiple menus in Top Nav
Can you add a drop-down list to display different menus in Flare? For example, an Admin menu and Client menu. See the image below. InContact did it (Agent, Supervisor, Manager, Workflow), but I cant tell if it's custom coding or a Flare feature. Each item you select displays a different menu.

Heading levels in Top Nav output
Hi everyone, I'm having a problem with maintaining my H1s on topics that are contained within top level books in my TOC. I can only have a certain number of top level books because those are my menu items in the output. Everything contained within those books is showing H2 and H3. In PDF output, I k...

Nevermind. It's a Chrome issue. I've just wasted an entire day trying to figure this out and I feel like an idiot.

Top Nav output is publishing the wrong font
Hi everyone, I'm building the Top Nav online help, and some of the font areas on the Home page are outputting what looks like Times New Roman. It looks just how I want it to in the skin, but then is all wrong when I build it. Is this a css problem? I've imported some of our local styles into the hom...

Welp, that wasn't it. Nothing happened, even after refreshing, closing, and reopening the topic.

Note, Caution, Warning icons are HUGE!
Hey guys, Somehow (I believe in the Flare 10 > 11 > 12 upgrade) something happened to my note icons that made them MASSIVE. We can't figure out how to fix this. Everything in the style sheet seems to be normal. Any help in resizing these icons within notes, cautions, and warnings would be fantastic....

There it is! That's the issue. I appreciate it. I'll get this fixed in the style sheet rather than coding it every time.
Thanks, everyone!

Actually, that still didn't work. It's still double spaced.

Re: Conditions with images in numbered lists (spacing issue)
Other than going into the text editor, how would I get the image to be a paragraph item on the list item?Daniel Ferguson wrote:Make sure the condition is on the paragraph tag, not the image.

Re: Conditions with images in numbered lists (spacing issue)
Hi Daniel and Robotman,
Thanks for the response. The only reason I include it in the break is because it didn't work as it's own paragraph item. I just tried it again, and the spacing is the same this time as well.

Conditions with images in numbered lists (spacing issue)
Hi everyone, I have a numbered list with an image in each step. I soft return after the step, add the image, then add the next step. This is supposed to be single spacing, and it is when there aren't any images. However, when I condition them to Print Only, and then I build my HTML5 output and exclu...

Build Terminated - "Writing search entry cache..."
Hi, everyone! FYI: I'm new to the forums, but not to Flare. I'm trying to build an HTML5 target, and after almost 20 minutes of build time when the Build Progress bar is almost full, the build gets terminated. The last compile status is "Writing seach entry cache...", which lasts about 15 ...
