Need to update v12....cant install patch - un-install either
If anyone has ideas on this, let me know. We are on v12.5939.19336. (released April 2016). We are not interested in trying v2017 due to so many crashes with v12, which is at least semi-stable. I am trying (once again) to install the patch - SetupMadCapFlare12.0.5991.25330 - but every time it starts ...

Re: How to show Full-screen Vimeo and YouTube Videos
ok, so by default, since the first items in the list are selected, you have to deselect them manually. THEN, you can click the Edit button and add the code snippet so that it isnt related to any of the existing toolbar items. I tested the script though, and it does work! I think it's odd that the Fl...

Re: How to show Full-screen Vimeo and YouTube Videos
I appreciate the quick response, unfortunately I can still see someone getting confused as to which Toolbar element is the correct one to add this script to. (Maybe it doesnt matter, but when I went to try this on a new machine, I wasnt entirely sure what to do, so I am sure someone else will wonder...

Re: How to show Full-screen Vimeo and YouTube Videos
Interesting solution, but you are lacking screencaps that would make this a lot easier to understand.
I opened the Toolbar option on the Tripane Skin, and several options. Which one of these is the one we add the script to? At first glance, none of them look correct.

How to show Full-screen Vimeo and YouTube Videos
If you are using the Tripane format, this is how to display a Vimeo or YouTube video in Full-screen mode. (Full credit for this fix goes to Michael Torres, on the MadCap Support Team.) (You have to modify part of the Application files to do this, so be careful.) First, you have to add the iframe to ...

Re: embedded youtube video, html output, full screen control
Just a clarification - the person above who said Full-screen video wont work in Tripane is wrong. It can be done, BUT you have to modify part of the application file. I have tested this on Vimeo and YouTube. It may work with others. (Full credit for this fix goes to Michael Torres, on the MadCap Sup...

Re: How to view Warnings and Errors?
Sorry for the rookie question. But for the next person with this problem,
Open the "Builds" panel. There is an optional towards the middle called "Open Build Log" - thats what you click. A new panel will open, with three tabs: Messages, Warnings, and Errors

How to view Warnings and Errors?
When I am publishing, I am now seeing some Warnings, and 1 error. But how in the world do I find these so I can correct them? I looked in the Help file, which was useless... and I see a lot of posts on the Forums about Warnings/Errors.... but where do I find the Access Panel that tells me where thes...
