Re: Annotation font size became too large to fit in bubble

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but all of my team of four are having this same problem and it is driving us mad. Due to working with laptops with external monitors, it's necessary to use the Windows zoom functionality (some of us set it to 125%, and others to 150%). When someone that is using 150...

Re: Cursor always large

There was this one not that long ago: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=30053&p=130919

It was solved by updating the graphics driver.

Re: mc-thumbnail-max-width won't permit % units?

Hi all,

Because we have a div taking up 25% of real estate to the right of the screen, I'd also love to have a mc-thumbnail-max-width with a percentage value.

Has anyone found a workaround for this, given that it still isn't possible to just write mc-thumbnail-max-width: 75%; ?

Thanks,
Stuart

Re: Grouping notes in a frame

Hi Karbo_ I see you're not having much luck getting a reply for this. I think part of the reason for this might be some confusion over your question. Are you basically looking for a way to have numbered notes that are reset with each new chapter? I'm also a little confused as you where the link goes...

Re: Margins and frame sizes in page layouts

Hi Liz_G,

My understanding is that it is measuring from the bottom of the "available" page (i.e. after padding is also taken into account). Are you also taking the padding into account? If that doesn't solve it, could it be something to do with which anchor options you have chosen?

Re: How do I create a cross-reference to a numbered step?

Added a feature request....I'm really surprised this is not possible. Don't want to dogpile, but FrameMaker can do this. :) And so can Flare. In Flare 2017 r2 (and I believe an earlier version), it is indeed possible to insert a cross-reference to list items, among a wide collection of other things...

Re: Font looks completely different in Flare

OK, something was puzzling me, because I never get this issue with the text even when I'm placing text boxes outside of the image, even with a transparent background. Turns out I do my text boxes with a white background (i.e. the background of the text box itself is white). Might be another option f...

Re: Font looks completely different in Flare

.png I think the transparency was an issue. It seems to be better without transparency, but so far that means I have to save my pictures first with non-transparent whitespace where I want to have callouts - and I haven't discovered yet how to do that in Capture... Hi jbananak. Did you try this? 1. ...

Re: Font looks completely different in Flare

Could it also be that you are saving this as a gif image with a limited color range or something similar? (I'm not sure what you are saving it as--just throwing some suggestions out there).

Re: Font looks completely different in Flare

I think the issue mentioned by ChoccieMuffin is also the reason why you're getting that grey line (I had that same issue in the past). I seem to remember fixing it by right-clicking on the image, going to File Properties, then in the Appearance tab, changing the Background to Solid and Fill Start to...
