It took a few weeks, but it turns out that I needed "a patch for Flare 2017 r3 which addresses the problem of being unable to connect/bind to TFS 2017 that has TLS 1.0 disabled", according to the MadCap Support person I worked with.

I tried clearing the XmlBookViewerMdiEditor directory in my settings, the Analyzer, Output and User directories in my project, and all I'm getting is snippets auto-suggestions if I turn that on, and nothing if I turn that ...

I have confirmed that this is not an issue with the Windows 10 update as I have tried unsuccessfully to connect to TFS source control through Flare on a completely different machine that did not have the update installed. I still received the same error message.

Cannot connect to TFS after Windows 10 feature update.

For the past day, I have not been able to connect to TFS through Flare no matter what I do.

I am able to connect to TFS both through Visual Studio and through a web browser.

Whenever I try to connect to TFS anywhere within Flare, I get the following error message:

Mini TOCs in Word output with multiple sections

I'm trying to create mini TOCs for each chapter in my Word output. Each chapter contains topics for which I have 'Start a new section' checked in the TOC properties:

Unfortunately, the mini TOCs in Word only seem to include the topics for which a new section break ...

"Preserve tracked changes" check box missing from target

I would like my tracked changes to be preserved when I output a document to MS Word.

As you can see in this screenshot from one of Flare's online help documents, there is supposed to be a "Preserve tracked changes" check box that I can click to accomplish this under the "Advanced" tab on the target ...
