Hi,
For anyone using Elasticsearch, have you ever experienced a topic not appearing in the search results when it should? I have a topic titled: DocuSign Acceptance For Life Post Issue Forms. When users search the term DocuSign, this topic does not appear in the results. There are only 13 results ...

Breadcrumb trail is not linked
Hi,
I am creating a new project using Madcap's Ivanhoe template. I didn't alter anything in the stylesheet or master pages other than colors. When I publish, my breadcrumb trail is not linked. My menu proxy is working as expected. My trail is correct, but it is not linked at all. Does anyone know ...

ElasticSearch
Hi,
Has anyone actually successfully implemented Elasticsearch? LOL I have been trying to months, with the help of my network administrator. We are so close I can taste it, but it is failing when publishing with a 404 error. We cannot figure out why. I am in Flare 2022, Windows 11. The server has ...

Re: Setting up Git/Bitbucket/Flare 2017
This has been resolved. The Bitbucket repository should not have a Readme file in it either. Once I created a blank repository and used Flare to push to it for the first time, it worked like a charm.

Setting up Git/Bitbucket/Flare 2017
Hi,
I am really struggling to pinpoint why I'm having such a problem setting up Source Control with Flare and I'm hoping someone here can help me. I have tried these steps both within my company firewall and outside of it with the same result, so I am assuming it is not a firewall issue. Anyway ...

Re: Conditions/Variables link
I have the same question! Seems the only way the existing Variables and Conditions are available in a topic is if you've created a Review Package, or if you've created a Contribution Template. However, if a Contributor author is going out to a location where Flare source files are located and ...

Creating Snippets
The online help for Contributor indicates that Contributor users can create Snippets, however, the option is greyed out for me. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or if I have an actual problem. Has anyone else experienced this? In this sample, I highlighted existing text to see if I could turn ...

Tablet Navigation Slide Out Width
Is there a way to adjust the width of the slide out when using Tablet medium? I have users complaining that it takes up too much space. Sigh. I don't see anywhere to adjust this. If I adjust the Navigation Pane Size on the Set Up tab, that only seems to alter the size when I am in Web view, not ...

Re: Adding p style to list item style in the stylesheet?
Thank you so much! These alternatives work! You are right, I won't need it for every list, but I definitely needed a way to insert the P style without my authors going into the code...that would confuse them

Adding p style to list item style in the stylesheet?
Hi All,
I am short on time to figure out how to make this happen so I apologize if this has already been answered on the forums. I looked briefly but didn't find quite what I need. I have recently converted from RoboHelp to Flare and I love it, but there are few things I've yet to figure out ...

Re: Right-Justify MiniTOC Proxy?
I have a follow-up question. I successfully floated my proxy, but is there a way to avoid these situations?
In a topic where a table is close to the top of the page, the proxy bumps up against the table. Is there any way to avoid this?

Re: Right-Justify MiniTOC Proxy?
Thank you! I thought that was how it was supposed to be done, but I could not figure out how to put my proxy inside a div. Every time I clicked the Group button, I got an error that said "current selection could not be grouped". But putting the code in manually did the trick.

Right-Justify MiniTOC Proxy?
I'm a new Flare user (v12) and I'm stumped as to how I get a Mini-TOC to display right-justified in my Master Page? Same question about Relationship Table proxy, or any proxy really! How do I get it to do this??

Icon Images appear too small in PDF Output
I created a Note style that includes an icon. In the editor, if I drag the image into a topic, it appears normal. If I apply the style, the icon appears much, much smaller; however, if I publish to HTML the icon looks normal size in the Note style. If I publish to a PDF it appears too small (the ...
